Moose Denies Report That He Has Re-Signed With IMPACT Wrestling

Moose's future with IMPACT Wrestling remains uncertain.

In February, Fightful reported that Moose's contract with IMPACT Wrestling would end in June, making him a free agent. On May, 6, he confirmed the news in a Tweet where he said, "My Goal is to win the @IMPACTWRESTLING world title before my contract is up in June."

Earlier today, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported that the two-time IMPACT Grand Champion had signed a new deal with the promotion, although no further details were provided. Fightful reached out in an attempt to confirm the news, but we've just heard that IMPACT is trying to re-sign him.

Moose has now come out and denied that he has re-upped with IMPACT, asking that people only get their news about him directly from him.

Moose made his debut in TNA (now IMPACT) in July 2016 and is next scheduled to compete against Kenny Omega for the IMPACT World Championship at Against All Odds on June 12th. Moose was the self-appointed TNA World Heavyweight Champion before losing the belt to Rich Swann in a title unification match. Swann would then lose it to Kenny Omega in an inter-promotional title vs title match. After winning his Number One Contenders match at Under Siege, Moose exclaimed that he was going to bring the Championship back home to where it belongs.

Fightful will keep you updated should any additional information on Moose's contract status become available.
