Report: Noam Dar Suffered Knee Injury At NXT UK TV Taping; Will Be Examined When He Returns To U.S.

Some unfortunate news concerning Noam Dar.

"The Scottish Supernova" Noam Dar was a part of the NXT UK TV tapings this weekend and on day two of the tapings, he went one-on-one with Mark Andrews. There was a spot during the match that resulted in both men needing medical attention and the bout being called off. Both Dar and Andrews were stretchered out and when the news came to the forefront by way of those in attendance, it was pointed out that Dar injured his knee and Mark Andrews was knocked out. In F4WOnline's Daily Update, it is noted that Dar suffered what is described as a "serious knee injury" and he will be examined when he returns to the United States.

Mark Andrews, as mentioned was knocked out but the site notes that his issue may be a concussion and the belief is that it is not too serious. In late 2017, Noam Dar had to take time away from the ring to have surgery to repair a tear in his meniscus. He made his return at the second WWE United Kingdom Championship tournament at Royal Albert Hall in the summer of 2018.

During the first set of NXT UK TV tapings this weekend, Dar announced to the live crowd that he was going to be with them full-time and PWInsider followed up on that and reported that Dar was moving back to Europe full-time and the 25-year old would be a member of the NXT UK roster but until the move was completed, 205 Live would still be his home.

We will have an update on both Noam Dar and Mark Andrews as the information becomes available but in the mean time, head over to Fightful's "results" section to get caught up on day one and day two of the NXT UK television tapings.
