More NXT names at WWE SmackDown.
Mike Johnson at PWInsider reports Aliyah, Austin Theory, and Odyssey Jones are backstage at WWE SmackDown in Houston. Johnson also notes that Xia Li is backstage, which Fightful Select reported on Friday afternoon.
It is unknown if any of the four will appear on television.
Fightful Select also reports that Li was planned to work a dark match on SmackDown. Li is set to challenge Raquel Gonzalez for the NXT Women's Championship on the July 20 episode of NXT.
Aliyah seemingly split from the Robert Stone brand on Wednesday's NXT while Austin Theory has been a regular on NXT television as part of The Way alongside Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, and Indi Hartwell. Odyssey Jones is set to compete in the NXT Breakout Tournament.
Shotzi Blackheart (now just Shotzi) and Tegan Nox debuted as a new team last Friday on SmackDown. It was also announced last Friday that Toni Storm was "coming soon" to the brand.
Fightful will have live coverage of WWE SmackDown beginning at 8 p.m. ET on Friday.
