Report: Oney Lorcan Requested WWE Release At The End Of October

Another superstar wants out.

Mike Johnson at PWInsider reports Oney Lorcan requested his WWE release at the end of October. As of now, his request has not been granted. It is unknown how much time is left on his contract.

Lorcan last wrestled on the Oct. 25 episode of 205 Live, losing to Lio Rush. He had been a focal point on 205 Live over the past couple of months, engaging in a feud with former Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak during the late summer and early fall. He also regularly teams with Danny Burch on NXT.

Lorcan recently changed his Twitter username back to Biff Busick, which is the name he used on the Independent scene. Lorcan has been signed to WWE since 2015.

He's just the latest WWE superstar looking to get out of his contract with ACH (formerly Jordan Myles) and Sin Cara both going public with their requests in recent weeks. ACH posted a video on Twitter where he quit the company but has since noted that he remains under contract and doesn't know when WWE will release him. Sin Cara posted a lengthy statement on Twitter, saying he didn't feel valued as an athlete and talent. Neither man has been granted their release.

Fightful will provide more details as they are known.
