In an update, in the October 7 edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Lorcan has been back "for a while" and working full-time as a coach.

Lorcan signed with WWE in 2015 and competed on NXT, NXT UK, and 205 Live at different points over the next few years. In October 2020, Lorcan and Danny Burch won the NXT Tag Team Championship. The duo then aligned with Pat McAfee and Pete Dunne to form the Kings of NXT. They vacated the titles in March 2021 after Burch suffered a shoulder injury. WWE subsequently released Lorcan on November 4, 2021.

Once his non-compete clause expired, Busick competed for various promotions on the independent scene, including GCW, PWG, and Beyond. He last wrestled in June when he faced Alec Price at Beyond's Please Come Back III event.

In July, Busick announced that he is taking time away from the ring.

In a previous interview, Busick reflected on his time with WWE. You can check out his comments here.
