The plan is for Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds to return.

The original film had a reported budget of $200 million. It became the most-watched film in its debut weekend on Netflix, as well as the most-watched film within 28 days of release on the platform.

Flynn Picture Company and Rock's Seven Bucks Productions will return as producers.

"Red Notice" entered the WWE Universe at WWE Survivor Series as the film was a sponsor for the show and one of Cleopatra's eggs was brought to the arena by Vince McMahon. McMahon said the egg was a gift from The Rock, though it was eventually stolen, leading to a storyline with McMahon and Austin Theory.

McMahon and Theory remain aligned on WWE Raw.
