Report: Rob Van Dam Missed Impact Wrestling Show In Atlanta Due To Rib Injury

Rob Van Dam’s absence on Impact’s recent show in Atlanta can be attributed to an injury.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Van Dam suffered a rib injury wrestling at a QPW show in Qatar on February 21. Van Dam was wrestling in a fatal four-way match that also featured former WWE star Alberto Del Rio.

Van Dam has been wrestling for Impact since April 2019 and has regularly wrestled for the company since then. Van Dam last competed for the company on the February 9 tapings and you can check out full results of those tapings at this link. 

There is no specific timetable for how long Van Dam will be out, nor is there any word in the Wrestling Observer on whether or not he will have to go under the knife.
