Final Battle is switching cities.
According to a report from Mike Johnson at PWInsider, Ring of Honor's Final Battle event will be held in Baltimore, Maryland this year. Final Battle, which is held in December and is traditionally ROH's biggest event of the year, typically emanates from Manhattan, New York. Since its inception in 2002, the event has been held at the Manhattan Center Grand Ballroom or Hammerstein Ballroom in 11 of the 17 years. Other cities to host the event include New Jersey and Philadelphia.
ROH has officially yet to announce details for Final Battle 2019, including a date when the event will take place.
ROH will return to the Hammerstein Ballroom on July 20 for a set of television tapings.
Baltimore has become the home market for ROH and is where the ROH Dojo is currently located.
The promotion recently swung by the UMBC Event Center in Baltimore for their Best in the World event this past Friday. The show was headlined by Matt Taven defeating Jeff Cobb to retain the ROH World Title.
