Report: Roman Reigns Signs New Deal With WWE

Roman Reigns is sticking with WWE.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports that Roman Reigns has signed a new deal with WWE. Roman Reigns made headlines by speaking at a live event on Saturday and saying that he's entering a new phase of his career.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Fightful Select published the following report regarding Reigns on May 8:

One source indicated to Fightful that Roman Reigns is likely to be accomodated and incentivized to keep WWE his priority after they've focused programming around him, as WWE doesn't see an end in sight with him factored in. This is a stark contrast from John Cena and The Rock, who aren't expected by WWE to have full-time runs again.

Another person in the company indicated that they believed Reigns was referencing that eventually his schedule will likely include less house show events.

Reigns competed in the main event of WrestleMania Backlash, teaming with The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) to defeat RK-Bro (Riddle & Randy Orton) & Drew McIntyre.

On Monday, he hinted that WrestleMania Backlash could be the last Bloodline six-man tag team bout. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
