Report: Substance Eva Marie Tested Positive For

Eva Marie's husband noted that the public would be livid over the reason the WWE Superstar was suspended, but there isn't much of an outrage over the latest reports.

According to TMZ Sports, Eva Marie was suspended by WWE after testing positive for Adderall, an attention deficit disorder drug. Eva told the outlet that she has a valid prescription for the drug, but a WWE source said that the medication wasn't cleared, causing the suspension.

Both Roman Reigns and Adam Rose tested positive for the supplement, which WebMD describes as "used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder -ADHD. It works by changing the amounts of certain natural substances in the brain. Amphetamine/dextroamphetamine belongs to a class of drugs known as stimulants. It can help increase your ability to pay attention, stay focused on an activity, and control behavior problems. It may also help you to organize your tasks and improve listening skills."

This drug is also used to treat a certain sleeping disorder (narcolepsy) to help you stay awake during the day. It should not be used to treat tiredness or to hold off sleep in people who do not have a sleep disorder.

Eva issued a statement Friday, which you can see below.

"I am disappointed that this suspension has occurred, yet understand and respect that WWE upholds their Wellness Policy to the letter and won't compromise on its integrity. I violated policy by not turning in portions of required paperwork in the time frame WWE Medical deemed timely. I look forward to my return!"
