Report: The Undertaker Among Legendary Names Spotted In Houston Prior To The 2020 Royal Rumble

Royal Rumble weekend always leaves an open door for surprises and several legendary names have been spotted in Houston, Texas. Houston is, of course, the site of the 2020 Royal Rumble.

According to a report by PWInsider, The Undertaker is among the legendary names seen in Houston this weekend prior to the big event. The Undertaker is a native Texan, as is Mark Henry, who is also reportedly in town for the event.

Other names include Pat Patterson, “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase, and former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Christian. Patterson is the man credited with coming up with the idea for the Royal Rumble match, which was first used on a broadcast in 1988 as a free-for-television special put on by the then-World Wrestling Federation to counter Jim Crockett Promotions and the Bunkhouse Stampede on pay-per-view.

Among the names listed as in town, The Undertaker is the only competitor who has had a match within the last 12 months. He last appeared at the WWE Extreme Rules event where he teamed with Roman Reigns to defeat the tandem of Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon.

There's no indication that any of these men will appear on the event in any capacity.
