Report: Wrestlers Met With Vince McMahon To Argue Against Twitch Ban

WWE superstars tried to make one last pitch to secure their Twitch.

According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, several WWE talents met with Vince McMahon and argued against the Twitch ban. The argument seemingly didn't work as many talents, including featured stars like AJ Styles and Cesaro, suspended their Twitch streams on Thursday night.

Zelina Vega and Aleister Black commented on their stream, saying they haven't been told anything, but that there would be a conversation at television on Friday, hoping to get more clarity. Black noted that he believes WWE is trying to make Twitch exist within the WWE Universe.

PWInsider goes on to report that WWE is planning on making a big push for their own Twitch channel in the coming weeks. WWE has its own Twitch channel, but it's rarely advertised and only airs kick-off shows and The Bump.

AJ Styles, Mia Yim, Cesaro, Aleister Black, and Zelina Vega all suspended their channels for the time being. Paige found out about the news during her stream on Thursday night and went through a range of emotions. You can read her comments by clicking here.
