Report: WWE Pay-Per-Views Will Be At Least Four Hours

WWE fans could be in for more of a time commitment.

It has been an eventful week in WWE programing. Earlier this week, it was reported that WWE sold the broadcasting rights of Smackdown to Fox for 1 billion dollars. Raw is also in talks of being bought by another broadcaster namely NBC Universal. The pay-per-views have also been a trending topic this week as reports arose WWE was considering making them four hours long. Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer reports he has confirmed WWE is moving to four hour pay-per-views with some (like WrestleMania) being five hours.

In the past, the pay-per-view start time did not include the kick-off show on the WWE Network which can add another hour on top of the pay-per-view runtime. It should also be noted, the time limits do not need to be strict because WWE owns the streaming service the majority of fans use.
