The show featured Orange Cassidy, Kris Statlander, Willow Nightingale, The Acclaimed, Billy Gunn & more. The full results are listed below.

AEW Battle Of The Belts VIII (10/21/2023).

  • As Jon Moxley was making his way backstage, he was shoved by Orange Cassidy. CCassidy & Moxley had a heated confrontation before Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Dax Hardwood & Cash Wheeler pulled Moxley to backstage. This led to the opening contest of Battle of the Belts.
  • AEW International Championship Match: Orange Cassidy (c) def. John Silver (w/ Alex Reynolds).
  • Lexi Nair was interviewed backstage by Andrade El Idolo but was interrupted by CJ Perry. Perry said that he could be the best & "most handsome" wrestler in the world. Andrade was bamboozled by the offer.
  • Mark Sterling & Tony Nese cut a promo. Sterling talked "slowly" to the Memphis crowd before Nese announced he would host some group training. The training was stopped by Samoa Joe for the title match.
  • ROH World Television Championship Match: Samoa Joe (c) def. Tony Nese (w/ Mark Sterling).
    • After the quick & dominant win, Samoa Joe called out AEW World Champion MJF to give him the "gift of foresight" & declared to Mr. Firedman that he was coming for the World Championship. Joe said that he informed this because he wanted MJF to either give him what he wanted or Joe would take it from Friedman's hands.
  • TBS Championship Match: Kris Statlander (c) def. Willow Nightingale.
    • Willow Nightingale & Kris Statlander were going to shake hands, but Skye Blue stopped her. Willow still shook Statlander's hand as Blue stared at Willow & Statlander in disgust.
  • AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy was interviewed backstage and called out Bryan Danielson & Claudio Castagnoli to a tag match against himself and former IWGP World Champion Kazuchika Okada.
  • AEW Trios Championship Match: The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) & "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn (c) (w/ Grizz from The Memphis Grizzlies) def. Matt Menard, Angelo Parker, & Daniel Garcia (w/ Anna Jay).
