On October 28, 2023, All Elite Wrestling hosted a new episode of AEW Collision on TNT.

The show was headlined by MJF defending his AEW World Championship against Kenny Omega & Hikaru Shida defending her AEW Women's World Title against Abadon in a Fright Night Fight. The full results are listed below.

AEW Collision (10/28/2023).

  • Tony Schiavone, Nigel McGuiness & Kevin Kelly welcomed the audience to the broadcast before transitioning into the opening contest.
  • Jay White (w/ Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn & "ROCK HARD" Juice Robinson of Bullet Club Gold) def. AR Fox.
    • After the match, MJF tried to get back the AEW World Title from Jay White, but he was stopped by The Gunns & Robinson. MJF escaped ringside and went back to the crowd.
  • AEW World Trios Champions Billy Gunn & The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster) cut a promo backstage to announce their 69-Day Celebration for next week's AEW Collision, but Caster stopped everyone to tell them that MJF had texted him that he would be joining the celebration. The messenger was revealed to be a catfish, but Caster stated that he sent the messenger pictures.
  • Bullet Club Gold's The Gunns (Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn) (w/ Jay White & "ROCK HARD" Juice Robinson) def. The Boys (Brandon Tate & Brent Tate) (w/ Dalton Castle).
  • There was a video package promoting the main event of the evening of Kenny Omega vs MJF for the AEW World Title.
  • Ryan Nemeth was interviewed by Lexy Nair who said that he was there to make an announcement. Nemeth went to speak with CJ Perry in her office but was introduced by Miro. Miro pulled Nemeth into the ring before laying him out.
  • AEW Women's World Championship - Fright Night Fight Match: Hikaru Shida (c) def. Abadon.
    • After the match, "Timeless" Toni Storm came to the ring to confront Hikaru Shida. She posed on the broadcast table as she & Shida had a staredown.
  • There was a video package detailing the feud between FTR and the team of Ricky Starks and Big Bill ahead of Starks's match against Dax Hardwood later in the night.
  • There was a video vignette recapping the history between Shane Taylor & Keith Lee.
  • ROH World Television Championship Match: Samoa Joe (c) def. Rhett Titus.
  • Renee Paquette interviewed QT Marshall, Johnny TV, Aaron Solow & Harley Cameron (recorded on last night's AEW Rampage). Marshall said that he was back in AEW and plans to defend the AAA Latin American Title against the best luchadors.
  • Claudio Castagnoli cut a promo backstage, stating that Bryan Danielson was injured with a broken orbital bone. Castagnoli said that he would make Kazuchika Okada at any time or at any place. Castagnoli then addressed Oraneg Cassidy, where he stated that he was going to hurt Cassidy and win the AEW International Title at the 11/1/2023 edition of AEW Dynamite.
  • Ricky Starks (w/ Big Bill) def. Dax Hardwood (w/ Cash Wheeler).
    • The House of Black (Buddy Matthews, Malakai Black & Brody King) confronted FTR in the ring, but they were interrupted by La Faccion Ingobernable (RUSH, Preston Vance, Jose the Assistant & Dralistico). They confronted FTR before they attacked The House of Black.
  • Andrade El Ido was interviewed backstage by Lexy Nair regarding CJ Perry's offer & the return of LFI, but Andrade responded by saying he was focused on his own business and no one else's business. Nair was bamboozled by Andrade's statement.
  • Lexy Nair interviewed TBS Champion Kris Statlander alongside Willow Nightingale & Skye Blue. Willow said that she felt some tension between her & Blue and wanted to address it, but Blue said that anything regarding Julia Hart & her was between them.
  • Claudio Castagnoli def. "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams.
  • Samoa Joe gave a pep-talk to MJF ahead of his match against Kenny Omega. Joe said that if he needed a "friend", he would help but only if he was given his rematch for the AEW World Title.
  • AEW World Heavyweight Championship Match: MJF (c) def. Kenny Omega.
    • Don Callis tried to get involved in the match, but he was kicked out of the match by the referee, Paul Turner. After a heated exchange of moves, MJF hit the Panama Sunrise on Omega before getting him in the ropes and hitting the Heat Seeker Piledriver for the win & title retention. Omega & MJF shook hands at the end to end the broadcast.
    • Powerhouse Hobbs, Wardlow, Samoa Joe, and Bullet Club Gold (Jay White, Juice Robinson, Colten Gunn & Austin Gunn) watched the match backstage.
