AEW Dynamite (10/10/2023) Results: Adam Copeland Competes, Bryan Danielson, Three Title Bouts, More

On October 10, 2023, All Elite Wrestling hosted a new episode of AEW Dynamite on TBS & with the Buy-In on YouTube. The show was headlined by Adam Copeland making his AEW In-Ring Debut against Luchasaurus plus Bryan Danielson facing Swerve Strickland to determine the new #1 Contender for the TNT Championship.

Also on the show, Three title bouts were set as Saraya defended her AEW Women's Championship against Hikaru Shida, Rey Fenix faced Jon Moxley for his AEW International Championship & Eddie Kingston defended both the ROH World Title & the New Japan STRONG Openweight Championship against Minoru Suzuki. AEW Dynamite - Title Tuesday (10/10/2023).

  • RJ City & Renee Paquette welcomed the audience into the broadcast of the AEW Buy-In to preview the main show before sending it to Excalibur, Tony Schiavone & Taz for the opening contest of the night.
  • Buy In Match - ROH World Championship & NJPW Strong Openweight Championship Match: Eddie Kingston (c) def. Minoru Suzuki.
    • Jay Lethal, Karen Jarrett, Sonjay Dutt, Satnam Singh & Jeff Jarrett watched the match backstage.
    • After the match, Kingston & Suzuki exchanged vicious chops before embracing in the ring. Kingston got to the commentary table and told the crowd to watch Dynamite. Kingston then flicked off RJ City on the ramp.
  • Renee Paquette revealed that Jon Moxley unfortunately was not cleared to compete against Rey Fenix for the international Title tonight with former AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy being announced as his replacement. We wish Moxley a speedy recovery.
  • TNT Champion Christian Cage opened the show saying that Luchasaurus would end Copeland's career before it begins tonight before transitioning into the opening contest.
  • TNT Championship - #1 Contender's Match: Bryan Danielson def. Swerve Strickland (w/ Prince Nana).
    • In the last parts of the match, Swerve tried to hit Danielson with Nana's crown, but "Hangman" Adam Page took away the crown from Swerve. This allowed Danielson to get a Victory Roll on Swerve for a near fall before hitting the Busaiku Knee for the win. He will face TNT Champion Christian Cage at the 10/14/2023 edition of AEW Collision.
  • There was a vignette for Samoa Joe ahead of his return to AEW.
  • Powerhouse Hobbs (w/ Don Callis) def. Chris Jericho.
  • Adam Cole helped Roderick Strong & The Kingdom (Mike Bennett & Matt Taven) before Strong gave Cole a #NeckStrong t-shirt. Cole said that he needed to get surgery, but Strong stopped him by saying that he needed "one thing" before the scene got cut.
  • AEW International Championship Match: Orange Cassidy def. Rey Fenix (c) (w/ Alex Abrahantes)/ NEW CHAMPION!
  • Toni Storm was with RJ City to present Act One of her Silent Short Film "Lover's Lament". The film featured Storm. The feature had Toni Storm dancing around the round.
  • Wardlow def. Matt Sydal (via TKO).
  • Daniel Garcia checked on Chris Jericho backstage but was pulled to the side by Matt Menard.
  • Jay White (w/ Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn & Juice Robinson of Bullet Club Gold) def. Adam Page.
    • In the last part, of the match, Bullet Club Gold distracted the referee. This allowed Prince Nana to distract Adam Page before White got a roll-up on Page for the win.
    • After the match, MJF came to the ramp to demand his AEW World Title back after White stole it last week. MJF put over White for not giving a damn before stating that he was using Bullet Club Gold, and he recognized it because that was from MJF's own playbook. MJF told White to give back his championship for the love of the sport, but White refused. Bullet Club challenged MJF to an Eight Man Tag before Robinson announced that he was entering the Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royal. Juice Robinson said that he would punch MJF with $10 Dollars worth of Quarters, to which MJF responded by saying that he would kill Robinson if he tried.
  • Part Two of Toni Storm's "Lover's Lament" played, where she talked trash to the camera before a graphic appeared and read "Ms. Storm, you are needed on set".
  • Christian Cage to respond to Adam Copeland.
  • AEW Women's World Championship Match - Ruby Soho Banned: Hikaru Shida def. Saraya (c)/ NEW CHAMPION!
  • It was revealed that Chris Jericho was sent to the hospital after Powerhouse Hobbs beat him.
  • MJF was interviewed backstage, but MJF said that he did not want to be interviewed after Juice Robinson opened some wounds earlier in the night. Max Caster offered himself, Anthony Bowens & Billy Gunn to help him out against Bullet Club Gold, but MJF ignored them.
  • Christian Gae cut a promo ahead of the main event, with Cage saying that he did not need extra help to get wins, unlike the Kansas City Chiefs. Cage said that he did not want to team with Copeland again because Copeland did not return the favor all those years he was still active. Copeland immediately came to the ring to attack Cage, but Cgae rolled out of the ring before Luchasaurus hit the Extinction Lariat. This led to the Main Event of the evening.
  • Adam Copeland def. Luchasaurus (w/ Christian Cage & Nick Wayne).
    • Christian Cage tried to attack Coeplan with the TNT Title, but Copeland got the belt and struck Luchasaurus with the belt before hitting him with the Spear for the win.
    • Luchasaurus & Nick Wayne attacked Copeland after the match, but Bryan Danielson made the save. Mogul Embassy, Blackpool Combat Club & "Hangman" Adam Page also appeared on the brawl to end the broadcast.
