AEW World Tag Team Championship
Kenny Omega & Hangman Page (c) vs. Natural Nightmares (Dustin Rhodes & QT Marshall) w/Brandi Rhodes
The match begins with Rhodes getting Omega in a headlock, Omega gets free and he attacks Rhodes with a few strikes. Omega goes for the One Winged Angel and Rhodes escapes to eat a hurricarana, Rhodes fights back and he nails Omega with a middle rope hurricarana. Page and Marshall are tagged in by their respective partners, Page gets Marshall down while applying a headlock to him. Page releases the hold to land some strikes on Marshall, Marshall recovers and he drills Page with a drop kick. Page recovers and he nails Marshall with a boot to the face, Omega tags in and he nails Marshall with a springboard axe handle smash. Marshall fights back and he nails Omega with a suplex, Rhodes tags in and he cracks Omega with a few strikes. Rhodes then hits Omega with a back suplex and multiple elbow drops, Marshall tags back in and he double teams Omega with Rhodes. Marshall follows up by nailing Omega with a back breaker for a near fall, Marshall keeps Omega down while applying a chin lock to him. Rhodes tags in and he drops Omega before applying a chin lock to him, Omega gets free and Rhodes nails him with a back body drop.
Omega fights back and he drops Rhodes with a Kitaro Crusher, Page and Marshall are tagged in by their respective partners. Page quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team, Page nails Marshall with a fall away slam before nailing Rhodes with a dive. Page then hits Marshall with a sliding lariat for a near fall, Omega tags in and he nails Marshall with You Cannot Escape for a near fall. Page tags in and he attacks a cornered Marshall with some strikes, Marshall fights back and he nails Page with a handspring enziguri. Omega and Rhodes are tagged in by their respective partners, Rhodes quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team. Rhodes then nails both Omega and Page with power slams, Rhodes climbs to the top rope and he nails the opposing team with a dive. Rhodes clears the ring before tagging Marshall into the match, Rhodes nails Page with a dive while Marshall nails Omega with a dive. Marshall then hits Omega with a top rope back elbow strike, Page hits the ring and Marshall knocks him back out of it. Marshall goes for a cutter and Omega nails him with a snap dragon suplex, Rhodes then hits Omega with a destroyer.
Page returns to nail Rhodes with a clothesline before eating a cutter from Marshall, Allie comes out to support Marshall. Marshall misses a top rope moonsault and Page tags in a short time later, Omega and Page double team Marshall in the ring. Page nails Marshall with an assisted German suplex for a near fall, Rhodes hits the ring and Omega knocks him back out of it. Omega tags in and he levels Marshall with a V Trigger for a near fall, Page also takes out Rhodes with a dive. Omega and Page hit Marshall with The Last Call for a three count.
Winners: Kenny Omega & Hangman Page, still the AEW World Tag Team Champions
- A video package airs highlighting Anna Jay.
Anna Jay vs. Abadon
The match begins with Abadon dropping Jay before landing a series of strikes, Jay recovers to corner Abadon and land strikes of her own. Abadon fights back and she nails Jay with a clothesline, Abadon traps Jay in the ropes while choking her on the middle rope. Abadon then spikes a kneeling Jay with a hurricarana for a three count.
Winner: Abadon
After the match, Brodie Lee and the rest of Dark Order come to ringside, Evil Uno hands Colt Cabana an envelope and Cabana reads what?s in it. Other members of Dark Order help Anna Jay out of the ring.
MJF w/Wardlow vs. Billy w/Austin & Colten Gunn
The match begins with MJF leaving the ring to avoid Billy, MJF gets back in the ring and he tries working over the arm of Billy. Billy quickly counters and he nails MJF with an arm drag, MJF pokes Billy in the eyes before landing a knee strike. Billy fights back and he nails MJF with a boot to the face for a near fall, Billy nails MJF with a punch and MJF heads backstage afterwards. Billy gives chase and he gets MJF back into the ring, Billy misses a Fame Asser attempt and MJF nails him with multiple chop blocks. MJF then nails a downed Billy with multiple knee drops to the injured knee, MJF also stomps away on the injured knee of Billy. Billy tries fighting back and MJF DDT?s his injured knee, MJF leaves the ring and he drags Billy to the ring post. Billy recovers and he sends MJF into the ring post, Wardlow interferes and he smashes Billy?s injured knee on the ring post while Austin argued with the referee. MJF gets Billy back in the ring while wrenching away on his leg, MJF gets Billy down again while bridging backwards on his injured leg. MJF also lands some seated sentons on the injured leg of Billy, Billy avoids a final seated senton and MJF crashes on the mat below.
MJF goes for another hold and Billy shoves him into the corner, Billy gets up and he cracks MJF with a series of strikes before landing a tilt-a-whirl slam. MJF avoids another Fame Asser attempt and Billy misses a follow up knee strike, MJF applies the trailer hitch to a downed Billy and the ref catches him using the ropes for an illegal advantage. MJF argues with the ref before failing a Fame Asser attempt on Billy, Billy then lands a Fame Asser on MJF. Wardlow interferes again and he tosses MJF his ring, Billy leaves the ring to attack Wardlow after Austin was attacked. MJF nails Billy with a ring assisted punch for a three count.
Winner: MJF w/Wardlow
After the match, MJF and Wardlow get into a physical confrontation with Jurassic Express and it takes a lot of AEW personnel to break it all up.
- Alex Marvez interviews Le Sex Gods, Chris Jericho talks about how everybody loves Orange Cassidy and what happened to him last week wasn?t funny. Sammy Guevara and Jericho both celebrate beating up Cassidy while also saying they will win against Best Friends tonight.
- Tony Schiavone interviews Dr. Britt Baker, who talks about her knee injury and how she is a victim of a conspiracy. Big Swole is controlling Baker?s vehicle and she drives her out of the arena.
- Cody gets the microphone before the next match and he wonders if her is even a part of The Elite anymore, Arn Anderson gets the microphone and he tells Cody to listen to the voice of reason in his head. Anderson says he knows that Cody can beat Jake Hager at AEW Fyter Fest, Anderson then says that Ricky Starks is Cody?s opponent for tonight.
AEW TNT Championship
Cody (c) w/Arn Anderson vs. Ricky Starks
The match begins with Cody going to work on the arm of Cody, Cody gets free and he drops Starks with a shoulder tackle. Starks gets up and he exchanges some strikes with Cody, Cody ends the exchange by nailing Starks with a drop kick. Cody traps Starks on the ropes while landing a kick to the midsection, Starks leaves the ring and Cody nails him with a suicide dive. Cody gets Starks back in the ring and he works over his arm again, Starks recovers to send a charging Cody into the middle rope. Starks leaves the ring to attack a downed Cody with strikes and a leg drop, Starks gets back in the ring to get a pin attempt on Cody. Starks also decides to choke Cody along the middle rope, Anderson helps Cody and that briefly distracts Starks. Starks then nails Cody with a tornado DDT for a near fall, Starks follows Cody around the ring while landing some strikes. Starks drops Cody before holding him in a chin lock, Starks releases the hold and he collides heads with Cody a few moments later. Starks goes for another tornado DDT and Cody avoids it to land a power slam, Cody looks for Cross Rhodes and Starks avoids it. Cody decides to land a front suplex on Starks for a near fall, Cody goes to the top rope and Starks prevents him from leaping off.
Starks also climbs the ropes and he nails Cody with a superplex, Starks then uses a cross body block to knock him and Cody out of the ring. Both competitors get back in the ring and exchange some strikes, Starks avoids a Disaster Kick and he nails Cody with a spear for a near fall. Starks looks for his finisher and Cody counters with a few roll ups for a few near falls, Cody nails Starks with Cross Rhodes for a three count.
Winner: Cody w/Arn Anderson, still the AEW TNT Champion
Superbad Squad (Jimmy Havoc & Kip Sabian) w/Penelope Ford vs. The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson)
The match begins with Havoc attacking Matt from behind just as the bell sounded, Havoc immediately attacks Matt?s previously injured ribs. Nick tags in and Sabian gets a tag as Havoc gets double teamed, Sabian hits the ring and he gets double teamed as well. The Bucks clears the ring before landing dives on their opponents, Sabian gets back in the ring and Nick drops him with a right. Havoc tags in and Nick nails him with a spin kick to the midsection, Matt tags in and he double teams Havoc with Nick. Matt then hits Sabian with a through the ropes drop kick, The Butcher & The Blade come to ringside to confront The Bucks. Havoc attacks a distracted Matt with a sign for a near fall, Sabian tags in and he attacks a cornered Matt with strikes to his injured ribs. Havoc tags back in and he double teams Matt alongside Sabian for a near fall, Havoc takes Matt?s medical tape off and he chokes him with it. Sabian tags back in and he nails a cornered Matt with shoulder thrusts, Sabian holds Matt down while wrenching away on his arm.
Matt tries fighting back and Sabian shoves him back down to the mat below, Havoc tags in and he lands strikes to the back of Matt. Sabian tags back in and he kicks away at a cornered Matt, Havoc tags in again and he sends Matt out of the ring and onto the entrance ramp. FTR makes their way to the ring to keep an eye on The Butcher & The Blade, Sabian tags in and he nails a downed Matt with a penalty kick. Havoc tags in and he double teams Matt with Sabian, Sabian tags in and he lands a few strikes before tagging Havoc back in. Havoc rakes the eyes of Matt while Nick argues with the ref, Matt fights back and he gets Havoc in a hanging sleeper hold. Sabian interferes and Matt blocks his super hurricarana attempt to land a super sit out power bomb, Nick tags in and he cleans house against the opposing team. Havoc leaves the ring and Matt nails him with a face buster and top rope high cross body on the entrance ramp, Nick then gets Sabian in a sharp shooter and Matt nails him with a top rope elbow drop. Ford interferes and she attacks Nick with a sign while Havoc distracted the ref, Havoc tags in and he nails Nick with an elevated DDT for a near fall.
Sabian tags back in and he nails Nick with a springboard tornado DDT for a near fall, Sabian goes to the top rope and he misses a double stomp attempt. Nick gets up and he nails him with a super kick, Matt and Havoc are tagged in by their respective partners. Matt nails Havoc with multiple northern lights suplexes, Nick tags in and he double teams Havoc with Matt. The Bucks hit Havoc with Risky Business for a near fall, FTR argue with The Butcher & The Blade and the argument distracts The Bucks. Sabian nails a downed Matt with a top rope double stomp for a near fall, Matt fights back against both opponents before landing a double northern lights suplex. Nick tags in and The Bucks hit their opponents with super kicks, The Bucks then hit Sabian with a double knee strike for a three count.
Winners: The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson)
After the match, The Butcher & The Blade attack The Young Bucks until FTR makes the save to incite a huge brawl between all the teams until The Bucks and FTR stand tall.
- Taz and Brian Cage appear, Taz talks about Cage?s attack on Jon Moxley on last week?s AEW Dynamite, Cage says Moxley brought everything on himself.
- Jon Moxley appears and he questions why Brian cage so willingly wants to fight him, Moxley says he has bad demons and hurting people keeps them at bay.
- Reba searches for the kidnapped Dr. Britt Baker and she finds her in a garbage can, Baker fires and then re-hires her for not finding her quick enough. Baker promises to get revenge on Big Swole for what went down.
- Matt Hardy comes to the announce desk before the next match.
AEW World Tag Team Title #1 Contenders Match
Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent) vs. Le Sex Gods (Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara)
The match begins with a brawl between both teams and it spills all over the arena, Taylor grabs Jericho?s scarf and he chokes Jericho with it. Taylor then sends Jericho face first into the time keepers table, Guevara throws Trent into the barricade before eating a spear. Trent gets Guevara in the ring and Taylor nails him with sliced bread for a near fall, Jericho tags in and Taylor attacks him with strikes and stomps. Jericho fights back and he nails Taylor with a missile drop kick, Jericho follows up on that by choking Taylor on the middle rope. Guevara tags in and he nails Taylor with a drop kick, Guevara keeps Taylor down while holding him in a chin lock. Jericho tags in and he nails Taylor with a suplex followed by a knee drop, Taylor fights back and Jericho drops him with a back elbow strike. Jericho goes for a Lionsault and Taylor gets out of the way, Guevara and Trent are tagged in by their respective partners. Trent quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team, Guevara misses a charge in the corner and he recovers to hit Trent with a pump kick.
Trent recovers and he nails Guevara with an overhead release suplex, Trent attacks Jericho and Jericho nails him with a baseball bat during a dive attempt. Jericho then grabs Trent and throws him into the barricade, Jericho also throws Trent midsection first into the ringside edge. Jericho throws Trent back into the ring so Guevara can get a near fall on him, Guevara follows up by nailing Trent with a Samoan drop for a near fall. Jericho tags in and he nails Trent with a back suplex, Jericho traps Trent in the corner while landing some strikes. Trent tries fights back and Jericho levels him with a clothesline, Jericho then nails a rocked Trent with knee strikes before dropping him midsection first on the top rope. Guevara tags in and he double teams Trent alongside Jericho, Trent recovers and he nails a charging Guevara with a double stomp. Taylor tags in and he starts cleaning house against the opposing team, Taylor nails Guevara with a falcon arrow for a near fall. Taylor then hits Guevara with a sit out power bomb for a near fall, Jericho interferes and Taylor knocks him to the arena floor. Trent tags in and he double teams Guevara with Taylor, Jericho attacks Trent before getting double teamed by Best Friends.
Trent goes for a tornado DDT and Jericho counters with the Lion Tamer as Guevara nails Taylor with a suicide dive, Trent gets to the ropes to break the submission attempt. Trent recovers and he nails Jericho with a clothesline, Guevara tags back in and he nails Trent with a thrust kick to the face. Guevara goes to the top rope and Trent crotches him, Trent climbs the ropes and he exchanges strikes with Guevara. Taylor returns to help Trent with an assisted superplex on Guevara for a near fall, Jericho interferes and he gets knocked to the arena floor. Guevara catches Trent with a roll up for a near fall, Taylor goes after Jericho and he sends him into the barricade a few times. Taylor grabs a steel chair and the ref takes it from him, Jericho throws Taylor into the crowd while Guevara nails Trent with a baseball bat. Guevara then hits Trent with a shooting star press for a near fall, Guevara goes for a GTS and Trent escapes. The cameraman accidentally trips Guevara and Trent lands his finisher on him for a three count.
Winners: Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent)
After the match, the cameraman reveals himself to be Orange Cassidy and he immediately attacks Chris Jericho. Cassidy knocks Jericho out of the ring after landing a superman punch.
