AEW Rampage (11/18/2022) Live Coverage.

- Excalibur, Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone & Chris Jericho welcomed the audience to the broadcast before running down the card and transitioning to the opening segment.

- Lance Archer attacked Ricky Starks backstage, slamming Starks' face into a metal door. Archer tossed a bystander onto Starks, but Starks evaded and threw a trash can before the two brawled their way to the ring for their match.

AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament Match - First Round.

Ricky Starks vs. Lance Archer.

After an extensive brawl, the match officially began with Starks laying in the punches on Archer before clotheslining him to the outside. Starks went for a PK Kick on Archer from the apron, but Archer caught him and chokeslammed Starks onto the apron. Archer tore a fan's sign before being stormed with "Asshole" chants. Back in the ring, Archer went for a Camel Clutch on Starks before he fired away on Starks with cross faces. Archer hit a vicious punch on Starks before laying more punches on Starks on his head. Archer placed Starks on the top rope and went for the Blackout on Starks, but Starks hit a series of strikes on Archer's chest before hitting a shoulder tackle off the middle rope. Starks hit a leaping lariat on Archer before attempting a Tornado DDT on Archer, but Archer reversed it with a vicious lariat on Starks for a near fall. Archer went for a Ripcord Lariat, but Starks reversed it with a Tornado DDT on Archer for a near fall. Starks went for the sunset flip on Archer, but Archer lifted Starks. Starks fired away with punches on Archer but Archer went for a Pounce on Starks, but Starks evaded before hitting a spear on Archer for the pinfall win, advancing to the AEW Championship Eliminator Semifinals against Brian Cage.

Winner: Ricky Starks.

- Archer attacked Starks after the match before he chokeslammed Starks onto the stairs as Brian Cage & Prince Nana stared along.

- There was a video package promoting the Count Down to Full Gear, which was set to air after Rampage.

- ROH Champion Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara were interviewed backstage by Tony Schiavone. Jericho said that he and Guevara would guarantee that Jericho would walk out as ROH Champion, but Guevara said "we'll see about that".

FTW Championship Match.

Hook (c) vs. Lee Moriarty (w/ Stokely Hathaway).

The match began with Moriarty and Hook locking up before Hook leaned Moriarty into the corner. Hoook hit a double leg takedown on Moriarty and went for a single-leg hok, but Moriarty reversed it for a hold of his own before Hook got off. the hold. Hook did another takedown before going for a modified Kimura lock, but Hook instead hit a northern lights suplex followed by locking in the bow and arrow on Moriarty, but Moriarty hit elbow strikes on Hook to break the hold. Hook hit a Gut Wrench Suplex on Moriarty and went for Redrum, but Hathaway distracted Hook long enough to allow Moriarty to hit a big boot on Hook. Moriarty hit a forearm strike on Hook before locking in a Cravat into a snap mare abdominal stretch on Hook, but Hook rolled over and went for another waist lock takedown, but Moriarty snapped Hook's left arm with his legs. Hook hit a punch on Moriarty's abdomen, but Moriarty slammed Hook's shoulder into the corner before hitting a single-hook suplex on Hook for a near fall. Moriarty got a wrist lock arm breaker on Hook before hitting a snap mare elbow strike on Hook. Moriarty locked in a standing Abdominal Stretch before snapping Hook;s middle finger and hitting a cross face strikes on Hook. Hook caught one of the cross face strikes before hitting a vicious lariat on Moriarty. Hook fired away with the body shots on Moriarty hitting an abdomen knee strike and a Judo Hip Toss on Moriarty. Hook hit a Fisherman's Suplex on Moriarty. Moriarty caught Hook in the corner and hit a flat liner on Hook onto the corner before climbing to the top rope and hitting a knee drop on the back of Hook's head for a near fall. Moriarty got an arm lock on Hook, but Hook broke the hold with a rope break. Moriarty transitioned from a Schoolboy roll-up into a Border City Stretch on Hook, but Hook reversed it from out of nowhere with the Redrum. With nowhere to go, Hook made Moriarty tap out to get the submission win and title retention.

Winner & Still FTW Champion: Hook.

- RUSH & Jose The Assistant were interviewed by Tony Schiavone with Preston "10" Vance & John Silver. RUSH promised Silver to squish him like the cockroach that he is and squash him.

Athena vs. Madison Rayne.

Athena attacked Rayne as the match began, but Rayne slammed Athena into the bottom turnbuckle with a schoolboy roll-up. Athena & Rayne got out of the ring but Athena slammed Rayne into the barricade of the wheelbarrow. Back in the ring, Athena hit a triple back flip chop on Rayne, but Rayne responded with a jack-knife cover for a near fall. Athena got Rayne up and went for a suplex, but Rayne reversed with a cutter mid-air. Rayne hit two clotheslines, a ripcord elbow strike, and went for the Crossroads, but Athena hit a flipping stunner and a running forearm strike on Rayne before hitting a Back GTS for the pinfall win.

- After the match, Athena punched the hell out of referee Aubrey Edwards and locked in the LaBelle Lock on Rayne, but was confronted by ROH Women's Champion Mercedes Martinez.

- The Factory & Best Friends (w/ Rocky Romero) were interviewed backstage by Renee Paquette. Best Friends introduced a cassette tape of a spooky video, revealing a different side of Danhausen. QT Marshall and the rest of The factory were unphased by this.

- There was a video vignette of Buddy Matthews, Malakai Black, Brody King & Julia Hart attacking four random people, teasing the imminent return of The House of Black to Television. The narrator of the vignette said "Members of The House of Black, please rise!" as the vignette ended.

- Mark Henry interviewed the team of Eddie Kingston & Ortiz and the team Jun Akiyama & Konosuke Takeshita. Ortiz said that they had been waiting for this match all their life and that they would do anything to win. Takeshita said that this was a dream match for Kingston, but that he and Akiyama would turn the match into a nightmare.

Eddie Kingston & Ortiz vs. Jun Akiyama & Konosuke Takeshita.

Kingston and Takeshita began the match, but Kingston demanded Takeshita to tag in Akiyama. Instead, Takeshita and Kingston locked up before doing a Grecko-Roman Lock up. Kingston transitioned into a headlock before the two collided with shoulder tackles in the ring. Kingston caught Takeshita running and hit a Belly-to-belly suplex on Takeshita before attacking Akiyama. Ortiz tagged in, but Takeshita hit a forearm strike on Ortiz. Akiyama tagged in and hit a back elbow strike on Ortiz and punched Kingston in the face. Akiyama hit a Gotch-Style Piledriver on Ortiz for a near fall as he continued to stare down Kingston. AKiyama & Takeshita hit a back suplex/ lariat combo on Ortiz for a near fall. Ortiz hit three chops on Takeshita, but Takeshita immediately dropped Ortiz with a forearm strike. Akiyama tagged in and hit a headbutt and a back suplex on Ortiz for a near fall. Akiyama and Takeshita hit a double shoulder tackle followed by a double Penalty Kick on Ortiz. Takeshita hit a Helluva Kick on Ortiz, but Ortiz tossed Takeshita onto the apron before hitting a cutter on Takeshita. Kingston tagged in and hit a chop and a neck breaker on Takeshita for a near fall. Kingston got a headlock on Takeshita before laying in the Machine gun Chops on Takeshita as he told Akiyama to watch. Kingston hit a double under-hook suplex on Takeshita for a near fall. Kingston hit a suplex on Takeshita before Ortiz hit a suplex of his own on Takeshita. Kingston and Ortiz hit a double suplex on Takeshita for a near fall. Ortiz tagged in and hit a wrist lock into a Northern Lights Suplex on Takeshita for a near fall. Ortiz hit a back breaker on Takeshita before Kingston hit a snap DDT on Takeshita for a near fall. Kingston and Takeshita exchanged wicked chops before Takeshita ran the ropes and hit a diving lariat on Kingston. Akiyama and Ortiz tagged and started exchanging strikes before Akiyama hit a big boot and a running knee strike on Ortiz. Kingston hit a chop on Akiyama before the two started firing away with the strikes in the ring. Akiyama hit a lariat on Kingston, but Ortiz hit a dropkick on Akiyama. Takeshita hit a Blue Thunder Bomb on Ortiz, but Kingston hit Takeshita with a Saito Suplex. Akiyama and Kingston exchanged strikes before Kingston & Akiyama exchanged Exploder Suplexes. Akiyama hit a running kick on Ortiz on the middle turnbuckle before hitting a Spike Exploder Suplex on Ortiz for the pinfall win. Akiyama & Takeshita stood tall to end the broadcast.

Winners: Jun Akiyama & Konosuke Takeshita.
