CMLL Announces First-Ever All Women’s Viernes Espectacular Show On 3/8, Tag Title Bout to Headline

First Ever All Women's Event In Arena Mexico History Set.

CMLL announced they would host a special "Viernes Espectacular" edition on March 8, 2024, in Arena Mexico. The special episode was revealed to be a history maker, as it will be the first-ever edition to be an All-Women Show to celebrate International Women's Day.

To honor the momentous occasion, three title matches and will be headlining the five-match card. Dark Silueta will be making her first title defense of her CMLL-Japan Women's Championship against former WWE Wrestler and current 2023 CMLL Women's Universal Champion La Catalina, while Reyna Isis will be defending her CMLL National Women's Championship against Zeuxis; however, the main event of the show will be Las Chicas Indomables (Lluvia & Jarochita) defending their CMLL Womens National Tag Titles against Andrómeda & Skadi.

The show will also feature a Torneo Cibernetico to honor legendary wrestler Irma Gonzalez, with participants of the match being Marcela, Amapola, Vaquerita, Tiffany, La Maligna, Metálica, Hera, Olimpia, Valkyria, La Guerrera, Persephone & Diablita Roja. Plus, Lady Metal & Lady Amazona will face Sexy Sol & Nautica to open the show. The full card is listed below.
