Hello and welcome to the Live Coverage for Tonight's Episode of the Cruiserweight Classic.

If you missed last week, get all caught up here.

And if you still haven't read my HUGE Bracketology Preview and Predictions, check it out.

And come back tomorrow to get my full thoughts on all the action.

So get your popcorn ready...

This is gonna be good.

Zack Sabre Jr. vs Tyson Dux

Sabre Jr and Dux are mat technicians.  No flippy spots here. The crowd seems impatient. Daniel Bryan LOVES it though.

Sabre Jr appears to have 6 inches on Dux and Dux has 10 pounds on Sabre.  Dux keeps putting Sabre in different holds, and Sabre keeps slipping out of them. Dux gets frustrated.  Sabre starts showboating.  Sabre goes for a kick to the ribs but is caught by Dux, Sabre slaps him and Dux responds with a Fisherman Buster. Sabre keeps kicking Dux's arm and Dux can't get a good grip on the Englishman.

There's a whole bunch of submissions that I've never seen in a WWE Ring before, most of them involving Sabre wrappping his whole body around Dux and wrenching on Dux's arm.

He wins with a crazy Rings of Saturn variation, pulling both of Dux's arms way behind his body.  Dux can't even tap. He has no control of his hands.

Poor guy just has to verbally give up.

Daniel Bryan loves Zack Sabre so much, you guys.  SO MUCH.

Winner: Zack Sabre Jr.

?Drew Gulak vs Harv Sihra

Gulak might murder this poor bastard; He's got forty-five pounds on Sihra.  Sihra has the speed advantage, but Gulak hits a diving clothesline and body slams Sihra into the ropes.
Sihra hits a springboard crossbody to the outside and then lands a big top rope superplex.
Gulak seems to say "F*ck this noise" and puts Sihra in the Dragon Sleeper with Body Scissors.  Sihra fights out of it for a second, but Gulak cinches it and Sihra has to tap.
Winner: Drew Gulak

Anthony Bennett vs Tony Nese

Bennett sure does like to dance. Tony Nese does not appreciate this.

Bennett gets some good stuff it, but Nese is way too powerful.

So far the best spot of the night is Nese up on the apron, Bennett on the floor, Bennett tries to clothesline Nese's legs but Nese cartwheels to avoid it, lands on the floor and hits a wicked superkick.

The finish is wonky. After a few back and forth exchanges, Nese lands a front powerslam, and hops up to the top rope. The ref stops him for a sec to check on Bennett. Bennett apparently tells him he's fine, so the ref gives Nese the go ahead, and Nese hits the 450 splash.

1-2-3.

The trainers come in to check on Bennett as Nese gets his hand raised in the center of the ring. D-Bry speculates that Bennett might have a separated shoulder.

Winner: Tony Nese.

Brian Kendrick vs Raul Mendoza

Raul Mendoza runs circles around Kendrick for the first few minutes, until Kendrick catches him with a boot while coming out of the ropes. Kendrick is an a-hole you guys. He forces open Mendoza's mouth, makes him bite the middle rope, then kicks the rope. Mendoza starts bleeding from the mouth. It's gruesome.  The ref even stops the fight for a bit to check up on him.

Brian Kendrick is one of the only true heels in the tournament.

Mendoza hits a corkscrew plancha to the outside, then puts Kendrick in the tree of woe and goes old school coast to coast on him from the top rope.  Wow.

The crowd is so behind Mendoza. Very cool.

Mendoza runs the ropes and Kendrick just drops to the mat and covers up, playing possum, then reaches up to grab Mendoza's waist band and pulls him down, guillotining him across the bottom rope.  Kendrick slaps the Bully Choke on Mendoza and he's forced to tap.

Winner: Brian Kendrick.
