Tonight in our main event Eli Drake defends his IMPACT Global Championship against Alberto El and Johnny Impact in a Six Sides of Steel Match, EC3 defends his IMPACT Grand Championship in a redesigned match with no rounds or judges against Matt Sydal, Lashley faces Moose, Allie challenges Laurel Van Ness for her Knockouts Championship and much more so be sure to come back here at 8 PM EST for all of the action!
IMPACT Grand Championship Match
EC3 (c) vs Matt Sydal
Matt immediately dropkicks EC3 as soon as the match starts before EC3 gets out of the ring, but Matt chases after him and hits him with chops and kicks repeatedly at ringside before rolling him back into the ring.Matt hits a huricanrrana into a basement dropkick before hitting a hesitation dropkick in the corner for a quick two count, before EC3 comes back with a series of chops and a suplex for a quick two count. EC3 counters a standing moonsault before whipping him across the ring repeatedly and playing to the crowd before hitting a back suplex and playing to the crowd some more. EC3 hits a sit-out powerbomb for a near fall before Matt comes back with a series of kicks that drop EC3 before finishing with a standing moonsault for a near fall of his own. Matt then goes for a frankensteiner, but EC3 slips out of the back and Matt lands badly on the mat as we go to commercial.
EC3 immediately gets a near fall as we return from commercial before Matt comes back with a spin kick that sends EC3 out of the ring, then Matt hits a wrecking ball dropkick through the ropes before rolling EC3 back into the ring. EC3 DDTs Matt on the apron when Matt tries to get back in the ring before Matt gets in at the count of nine, then Matt counters a powerbomb into a huricanrrana and a series of kicks and a jumping knee. Matt then misses a shooting star press, but lands on his feet before EC3 hip tosses him into the corner, EC3 hitting a TK3, but he mocks Matt rather than pin him before Matt powerbombs EC3 and hits a shooting star press for the pin and the win.
Winner: Matt Sydal defeats EC3 via pinfall with a shooting star press to become the new IMPACT Grand Champion.
Knockouts Championship Match
Laurel Van Ness (c) vs Allie
They lock up to start the match before rolling out of the ring still locked up until they break it and get back in the ring. Allie drops Laurel repeatedly before hitting a clothesline in the corner and a sliding lariat for a quick two count. Laurel rolls out of the ring to regroup, but Allie comes up from behind her and hits a flying forearm off of the steps before chopping her across the chest only for Laurel to drop her with a boot when she runs at her. Laurel beats Allie down at ringside while playing to the crowd before pointing to her belt sitting on the steps as we go to commercial.
Laurel is in control as we come back from commercial, kicking at a grounded Allie before hitting a neckbreaker for a quick two count, then Laurel hits a draping DDT for a series of near falls. They exchange strikes before clotheslining each other, then Allie dropkicks Laurel face first into the middle turnbuckle before suplexing her into the corner for a near fall. Allie hits a codebreaker for a near fall before Laurel hits a curb stomp for a near fall of her own, then Allie superkicks Laurel for a near fall, Laurel getting her foot on the bottom rope at the last second. Laurel then hits the Unprettier after elbowing Allie for the pin and the win.
Winner: Laurel Van Ness retains her Knockouts Championship by defeating Allie via pinfall with the Unprettier.
Moose vs Lashley
Lashley beats Moose down as soon as the match starts before Moose comes back with a series of chops only for Lashley to shoulder tackle him repeatedly. Lashley continues to beat Moose down and brutalize him until the referee makes him back off when Moose gets to the bottom rope, then Moose comes back with a springboard cross body before getting distracted by KM at ringside. Lashley clotheslines Moose before he gets out of the ring and tells KM to stay out of it as Dan tries to keep them separated as we go to commercial.
Lashley is in control as we come back from commercial, tossing Moose out of the ring and smashing his face into the railing repeatedly while playing to the crowd before rolling Moose back into the ring and choking him in the ropes. Moose dropkicks Lashley off of the top rope and to the floor before Lashley tosses him into the steps and rolls back into the ring. Lashley beats Moose down at ringside as KM takes a table out from under the other side of the ring before they get back in the ring and Moose whips Lashley into the corner before dropkicking him. Moose hits Go to Hell for a near fall before Lashley hits a huricanrrana into a spear for a near fall of his own, then Moose sends Lashley into KM when he gets onto the apron before hitting two discus lariats for the pin and the win.
Winner: Moose defeats Lashley via pinfall with two discus lariats
-After the match Dan turns on Lashley before Lashley spears KM and tosses Dan back into the ring where Moose drops him with a boot. Moose then sets a table up in the corner before Lashley spears Dan through the table and shakes hands with Moose before leaving as we go to commercial.
-We get a match available on the Global Wrestling Network, then a recap of the Moose and Lashley match and aftermath before we get highlights of Taiji Ishimori defending his X-Division Championship in Pro Wrestling NOAH against Andrew Everett where he wins with a lariat and a 450 splash.
IMPACT Global Championship Triple Threat Six Sides of Steel Match
Eli Drake (c) vs Alberto El Patron vs Johnny Impact
Eli and Alberto beat Johnny down to start the match before choking and stomping on him until Eli and Alberto exchange strikes until they both try to climb out of the cage. Alberto hits a diving punch off of the top rope to Eli before Johnny comes back and sends both Eli and Alberto into the side of the cage repeatedly. Johnny beats on Alberto in the corner before hitting a swinging neckbreaker to Eli for a quick two count, then goes to get out of the cage, but Alberto pulls him down and clotheslines him. Alberto hits a backstabber to Eli for a near fall before hitting a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker to Johnny as we go to commercial.
Johnny is in control as we come back from commercial, beating Eli down on one side of the ring and dropkicking Alberto on the other side before trying to climb the cage, but Alberto is quick to grab and pull him back down before dropping him with an enzuigiri for a near fall that Eli breaks up. Alberto smashes the face of Eli into the cage repeatedly before hitting a snap DDT for another near fall that Johnny breaks up. Alberto goes to climb the cage, but Johnny gets up beside him and they exchange strikes on the top rope until Alberto smashes his face into the side of the cage. Alberto hits a double foot stomp off of the top rope after Johnny falls into a tree of woe, then locks in an armbar to Eli that Johnny breaks up with an elbow drop. Johnny and Eli climb the cage before Alberto joins them and Eli sends Alberto off of the cage and to the mat before Johnny sends Eli off and rather than getting out of the cage hits a cross body off of the top of the cage.
Alberto takes out Johnny before Eli hits the Gravy Train to Alberto for a near fall, then Eli tries to escape the cage before Johnny goes after him, Alberto trying to get out of the door of the cage before Johnny drags him back. Alberto then goes to leave the cage, but Chris Adonis smashes the cage door in his face before Eli falls to the floor, Johnny trying to land, but Chris catches him before he can drop and Eli retains the title.
Winner: Eli Drake retains his IMPACT Global Championship by escaping the cage before Alberto or Johnny could.
