Mance Warner & Sami Callihan vs Ricky Martinez & El Hijo de La Park
They brawl as soon as Sami and Mance get in the ring and spill to the outside until they get back in the ring and Promociones Dorado double up on Mance. Ricky hits a running European uppercut and sends Mance into Hijo who superkicks him before splitting the uprights in the corner with the ring post for a two count. Hijo and Ricky then isolate Mance until he gets the tag to Sami who piledrives Ricky for the pin and the win.
Winner: Sami Callihan & Mance Warner defeat Promociones Dorado via pinfall when Sami pins Ricky with a piledriver.
-Hijo immediately attacks Sami after the match and all four men brawl to the back until PD overwhelm Sami and Mance when LA Park shows up.
-We get a vignette for the forthcoming Austin Aries.
Daga vs Minoru Tanaka
They exchange wrist locks and standing switches and wring each other's arms before Minoru dropkicks Daga and hits a missile dropkick for a two count. Minoru immediately goes for an arm bar that Daga counters into a rear naked before Minoru gets to the ropes for the break and Daga hits a huricanrrana that sends Minoru out of the ring. Daga hits several topes and rolls Minoru back into the ring before Minoru rolls through into a knee bar. Daga gets to the ropes right before tapping and Minoru dropkicks his knee, turning him inside out before dumping him out of the ring and hitting a moonsault off of the top. Minoru tosses Daga back into the ring and they counter German suplexes before Daga superkicks Minoru for a near fall. Daga catches a kick and locks in an ankle lock before Minoru hits a leg lariat for a near fall.
They then exchange forearms until Daga hits a dead lift German suplex for a near fall and Minoru wins with a unique pin.
Winner: Minoru Tanaka defeats Daga via pinfall.
National Championship Semifinal Match
Rich Swann w/Myron Reed vs Brian Pillman Jr.
Rich nearly walks out before the match starts and reluctantly gets in for the match to start before Brian goes right after him with right hands and chops. Brian hits a powerslam and Rich rakes his eyes before Myron repeatedly distracts the referee and Brian. Rich superkicks Brian out onto the apron and hits him with a European uppercut before Brian hits a dropkick through the ropes to Myron. Brian hits a stunner in the ropes to Rich and a diving cross body for a two count before dropping Rich with a right hand and hitting him with numbered punches in the corner. Myron knocks Brian from the turnbuckle and Rich hits a PK before choking Brian in the corner and the ropes before Myron does the same when Rich distracts the referee.
Brian then counters a dragon sleeper before Rich hits a DDT for a near fall and Brian sends Rich into Myron who's up on the apron and rolls Rich up for the pin and the win.
Winner: Brian Pillman Jr. defeats Rich Swann via pinfall with a roll up to advance to the finals of the National Openweight Championship tournament.
