This is the Fightful.com live coverage for tonight's episode of WWE 205 Live! It goes without saying that Akira Tozawa' s path since joining the WWE has been somewhat lackluster; always running through all of the Brian Kendrick' s put in front of him, but never getting the satisfaction of defeating The Brian Kendrick. He looks for that to change tonight when he finally gets his hands on him one on one! Will Tozawa show why he's the next big star in the cruiserweight division or will The Man with the Plan teach him another lesson? Be sure to come back here at 10 PM EST to find out!
Rich Swann vs Ariya Daivari
They start off exchanging hammer locks and headlocks, then flips and they hop over each other until Swann hits a dropkick that sends Daivari out of the ring. Swann gets sent face first into the announce table as he comes out after Ariya who gets back into the ring. Daivari decides he's not done and comes back out and throws Swann into the ring post and hits him with right hands before rolling him back into the ring for a quick two count. Daivari then drops Swann with a variation of a lariat for another quick two count, then hits him with several elbows before locking in a headlock that Swann is quick to power out of. Ariya whips Swann sternum first into the turnbuckle, then throws him across the ring into the other one, causing him to do a flip for a near fall.
Daivari misses a splash off of the top rope, then they exchange strikes before Swann hits a Michinoku driver for a near fall. Swann limps around and Daivari almost sends him into the referee, but he stops himself, then Daivari hits a neckbreaker and a splash off of the top rope for a near fall of his own. Swann catches Ariya on the top rope and sends him off of it before he hits a phoenix splash for the pin and the win.

-Neville comes out and talks about winning the cruiserweight title and how he's the best in the division as well as how he's never had a Wrestlemania moment. He talks about how he broke his ankle and how everyone forgot about him before he came to 205 Live and that he changed the landscape of the show. Aries then comes out and says that all Neville does is feed his ego and that's his problem and that he'll never say that Neville isn't worthy of being champion, but he will say that he's just a little better. Aries gets in the ring and says that no matter where they are on the card, they are the main event and going to tear the house down this Sunday. Neville then cheap shots Aries and stomps on his repeatedly before hitting him with a flat liner, then Aries drops him with a right hand before locking in the Last Chancery for a split second before Neville rolls out of the ring and runs away as we go off the air.
