WWE Main Event Report For October 25: American Alpha vs. The Vaudevillains & Apollo Crews vs. Curt Hawkins

This week’s edition of WWE Main Event starts off with our first match between American Alpha and The Vaudevillains, commentary duties will be handled by Tom Phillips and David Otunga.

American Alpha (Jason Jordan & Chad Gable) vs. The Vaudevillains (Aiden English & Simon Gotch)

The match kicks off with Jordan scoring a takedown on English for a quick pin attempt, Gable tags in and he catches English with a monkey flip. English tries fighting back and Gable nails him with the Alphaplex, Gotch tries interfering and Jordan takes care of him. Gable catches English with an arm bar while they are tangled in the ropes, Gotch interferes again and that allows English to knock Gable from the ring apron into the barricade. The Vaudevillains double team Gable by smashing him on the ring apron, Gotch tags in and he nails Gable with a European uppercut.

English tags back in and he places Gable along the top turnbuckle before kicking him in the rib cage, Gotch tags back in and he wrenches away at the neck of Gable. Gotch charges at gable and both wrestlers go down as they bash heads, Gotch traps Gable and tags in English. Gable escapes his opponents grasp to tag Jordan in. Jordan takes out both members of the opposition with a variety of suplexes, American Alpha hits English with Grand Amplitude to score the three count.

Winners: American Alpha (Jason Jordan & Chad Gable)

Highlights from this past week’s WWE Raw air, we see how Sheamus and Cesaro defeated WWE Raw Tag Team Champions The New Day in a non-title match.

The next set of highlights from WWE Raw air, this time we check out the contract signing for the Hell In A Cell Match between WWE Raw Women’s Champion Sasha Banks and Charlotte.

Apollo Crews vs. Curt Hawkins

The action begins with Hawkins playing a little bit of the mind games with Crews, Hawkins applies a chin lock to Crews and Crews uses a headlock to break free. Crews drops Hawkins again with a shoulder block and then nailing him with a drop kick for a near fall, Crews starts working on the arm of Hawkins. Hawkins punches his way free before working over Crews in the corner, Crews regains control and Hawkins quickly gets out of the ring. Crews then catches Hawkins with a standing moonsault from the ring apron onto Hawkins as we go to a commercial. The break ends and Hawkins drops Crews with smashing his face into the ropes, Hawkins stomps on Crews before picking him up and nailing him with a side Russian leg sweep.

Hawkins keeps Crews down and he applies a chin lock to him, Hawkins releases the chin lock before dropping Crews throat first on the middle rope. Hawkins then chokes a downed Crews on the middle rope as well, Hawkins then hits Crews with a suplex for a near fall. Hawkins slows things down further by applying a modified chin lock on Crews, Crews tries fighting back and Hawkins catches him with a falcon arrow for another near fall. Crews finally drops a taunting Hawkins with a running boot to the face, Crews then hits Hawkins with a few kicks to the face and a clothesline. Crews follows them up with an inzaguri and a toss power bomb for the three count.

Winner: Apollo Crews

The show closes with more highlights from WWE Raw, this time we see Seth Rollins defeat Chris Jericho and WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens in a non-title triple threat match.
