WWE NXT Live Coverage & Discussion 3/15 Bobby Roode VS Kassius Ohno WWE NXT Championship Match!

This is the Fightful.com live coverage for tonight's episode of WWE NXT! Tonight we have a great show as in our main event Bobby Roode will defend his NXT World Championship against Kassius Ohno and the Authors of Pain look to destroy the Ealy Brothers when the identical twins look to get a modicum of revenge on AOP for attacking last week. The Authors of Pain vs The Ealy Brothers

The Ealy's tag in and out early, double teaming Rezar until he turns Uriel inside out, then AOP hit the Super Collider, then The Last Chapter for the pin and the win.

Winner: Authors of Pain via pinfall

-After the match Paul calls out The Revival and says he created the algorithm for the perfect tag team. #DIY come out and interrupt him, then get into the ring and mock Paul before Gargano says they could beat them. #DIY say that they deserve a fair rematch as The Revival comes out to the ramp. Dash and Chad mock AOP and say that they're the greatest tag team of all time. William Regal then comes out and makes the three way title match for TakeOver Orlando.

-We get a nice video package for Asuka and Ember Moon.

Nikki Cross vs Macy Estrella

Nikki backs Macy into a corner and beats on her before tossing her across the ring by her hair, then Macy hits Nikki with a right hand. Nikki hits a cross body and six swinging neckbreakers for the pin and the win.

Winner: Nikki Cross via pinfall

-Tye and Jose attack Sanity after the match, but they're outnumbered and destroyed.

-We get a video package for Billie Kay, then Oney gets between Almas and Ho Ho before we get an announcement of a match between Almas and Lorcan next week.We also get one for Tye, Jose, and Strong vs Sanity.

Bobby Roode VS Kassius Ohno WWE NXT Championship Match

Ohno gets a series of quick two counts immediately as Shinsuke watches from backstage, Roode getting out of the ring to regroup. Ohno drops Roode with a shoulder block, then a big boot before Roode comes back and chops Ohno in the corner. Ohno comes back and whips Roode into the opposite corner, then hits a running chop that drops him. Ohno hits a backdrop, then clotheslines Roode out of the ring and to the floor as we go to commercial.

Ohno whips Roode into the corner, but Roode comes back with a lariat to the back of his neck, then stomps on him. Roode drops Ohno with a series of right hands then chokes him before the referee makes him back off. Roode drops Ohno with a variation of a RAINMAKER for a series of quick two counts, then hits him with a series of strikes from mount. Ohno comes back with a series of strikes, then Roode hits a back elbow, elbow drop and a leg drop for a near fall as Shinsuke looks on backstage. Ohno powers out of a headlock, then Roode sends him over the top turnbuckle and out of the ring and to the floor as we go to commercial.

Roode beats on Ohno once he's back in the ring, then Ohno hits a release inverted suplex and drops Roode repeatedly before hitting a basement dropkick. Ohno hits Roode with a discus big boot for a near fall, then Ohno misses a senton, Roode countering with a backstabber. Roode hits a spinebuster for a near fall, then Ohno sends him out of the ring with a discus forearm, getting him back in the ring and hitting a senton for a near fall. Finally, Ohno goes for a discus lariat, but Roode counters and hits a DDT for the pin and the win.

Winner: Bobby Roode via pinfall
