WWE NXT Takeover: Stand & Deliver Night Two Results New NXT Champion Crowned

Good evening Fight Fans, and welcome to our coverage for night two of NXT Takeover: Stand & Deliver!

Pre-Show

David Finlay Agrees To Defend IWGP Global Title Against Yota Tsuji At NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19

- We get a breakdown for the card for tonight's main show before we see NXT General Manager William Regal warning Kyle and Adam about how they aren't allowed to touch each other before their unsanctioned match.

- We get a video package for the NXT Championship Match between the champion Finn Bälor and the challenger Karrion Kross before we get a sit-down interview with both the challenger and champion.

- We get a video package for the North American Championship Gauntlet Eliminator Number One Contender Match as well tonight's North American Championship match between the champion Johnny Gargano and the challenger Bronson Reed.

- We get a video package for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship Unification Ladder Match between Santos Escobar and Jordan Devlin.

NXT Tag Team Championship Number One Contender Match
Breezango vs Killian Dain and Drake Maverick

Dain and Fan start things off before Drake comes in and counters a sunset flip before Dain tags himself in rather aggressively and Fandango rocks him with uppercuts. Dain drops Fandango with a single uppercut and throws Drake into him before Tyler hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for two before Breezango isolate Drake. Drake gets the hot tag to Dain who hits a uranage into a slingshot senton before hitting a fall away slam/Samoan drop combo. Drake and Dain double team Fandango before Tyler saves him and Breezango hit stereo superkicks to Dain for a near fall before Drake is sent out of the ring. Drake then hits a frankensteiner and knocks Tyler off of the apron before Dain powerbombs Drake onto Fandango for the pin and the win.

Winner: Killian Dain and Drake Maverick defeat Breezango via pinfall to become the new number one contenders for the NXT Tag Team titles.

- We get a recap of night one of Takeover before we get a backstage interview with Regal about how successful night one was and how he's excited for night two. Regal then says that he's taken every step possible to make sure that Kyle and Adam are separated until the bell rings and that Adam won't be getting fined.

- We get an extended video package for the Unsanctioned match between Kyle and Adam before we get sit-down interviews with the two.

Main Show

- We open tonight's proceedings with a live performance by Poppy.

NXT Cruiserweight Championship Unification Ladder Match
Jordan Devlin (c) vs Santos Escobar (ic)

The two brawl before Jordan drops Santos and hits a deep arm drag before they counter each other's early attempts at a finisher. Jordan hits a uranage into a standing moonsault for two before playing to the crowd and hitting an asai moonsault before tossing Santos back inside. Jordan grabs a ladder and hits Santos with it before sliding it inside and setting it up before Santos rips him down and sends him into the ladder. Santos whips Jordan into the ladder before he spills over the top rope and down onto the floor before Santos hits a running splash against the barricade. Santos brings a second ladder out from underneath the ring before setting it up at ringside and climbing the one in the ring before dropkicking the ladder into Jordan when he sees him getting back into the ring.

Santos stomps Jordan and sets a ladder on the top turnbuckle before Jordan sends him face first into the ladder before hitting a DDT off of the ladder. Santos sends Jordan out of gut ring and hits a suicide dive into the ladder at ringside before they get back into the ring and Santos kicks Jordan in the spine. Jordan back drops Santos across a ladder before they exchange strikes until Jordan hits a slingshot cutter before headbutting Santos. Jordan hits a moonsault off of the top of the ladder before climbing the ladder and Raul and Joaquin come out and attack Jordan. Santos gets back into the ring and climbs the ladder before Jordan throws a ladder at him before setting it up next to the ladder already in the ring.

Jordan then suplexes Santos off of the ladder before they climb opposite sides of a ladder and Santos knocks Jordan down before snatching the titles down for the win.

Winner: Santos Escobar defeats Jordan Devlin to become the undisputed NXT Cruiserweight champion.

- Backstage newly crowned NXT Tag Team champions MSK are interviewed before they give disjointed predictions on our main event and co-main.

NXT Women's Tag Team Championship Match
Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon (c) vs The Way (Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell)

The four women pair off before Candice and Indi double team Shotzi and Indi hits a sidewalk slam for two before Candice hits a running uppercut in the corner. Candice drops Shotzi with a back elbow before Indi comes back in and traps Shotzi in the ropes before Candice gets two off of a leverage pin. Ember gets the hot tag and dropkicks Indi before rocking Candice with a discus punch into a running splash in the corner before Indi distracts Ember. Candice crotches Ember up top before Shotzi saves Ember and they hit a tower of doom for two before Indi hits a spine buster for two. Ember tags in Shotzi who hits a diving cross body onto both Candice and Indi before suplexing Candice out of the ring and hitting a suicide dive at ringside.

Ember and Shotzi hit a double team move to Candice for a deep two count before Candice knocks Ember off of the apron and The Way hit a double team move to Shotzi for a near fall that Ember breaks up. Ember then hits a double Eclipse to both Indi and Candice before Shotzi pins Indi with a diving senton for the win.

Winner: Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon retain their NXT Women's Tag Team titles by defeating The Way via pinfall.

- We see the NXT champion Finn Bälor backstage before we see Karrion Kross training with Scarlett as we go to commercial.

- We see NXT signee Gable Stevenson at ringside.

NXT North American Championship Match
Johnny Gargano (c) (w/ Austin Theory) vs Bronson Reed

Reed tosses Johnny around the ring and counters a head scissors and runs over Johnny before hitting a military press into a fall away slam. Reed beats Johnny down in the corner before Johnny hits a slingshot spear and Reed drops him with an open hand palm strike. Johnny chops Reed down before elbowing and kneeing Reed before Reed rolls out of the ring and Johnny sends him into the announce table before they get back inside and Johnny focuses on his midsection. Johnny grounds Reed with a rear chin lock before Reed hits a powerslam into a uranage and DVD for a near fall before Johnny hits a draping back stabber. Reed counters a suplex into one of his own before missing a running senton and Johnny gets two off of a crucifix before Johnny hits a poison rana into the Gargano Escape.

Reed gets to the bottom rope for the break before rolling out of the ring and onto the ramp before Reed counters One Final Beat into a Razors Edge over the top rope. Reed misses a Tsunami Splash before Johnny superkicks him for a near fall before Reed catches a kick and headbutts Johnny before hitting a wrist lock lariat. Austin distracts Reed which allows Johnny to crotch him up top before Reed hits a powerbomb and Austin breaks up a near fall. Reed then kicks out of One Final Beat before superkicking Johnny and missing a moonsault before Johnny hits a pair of One Final Beats for the pin and the win.

Winner: Johnny Gargano retains his NXT North American Championship by defeating Bronson Reed via pinfall.

- In the locker room we see Adam and Kyle, both surrounded by security in their designated areas.

- We see Kross and Scarlett backstage before they make their way out to the ring for the NXT title match that won't be headlining as advertised, the Unsanctioned match ending tonight's show instead.

NXT Championship Match
Finn Bälor (c) vs Karrion Kross (w/ Scarlett)

The two face off before locking up and Kross rips Finn down and shoves Finn away before Finn gets him down to one knee with a straight armbar. Kross shoves Finn away when he goes for a side headlock before Finn kicks Kross in the leg and Kross throws him across the ring. Finn slaps Kross who drives him into the corner and accidentally runs into the post before Finn focuses on the shoulder of Kross and grounds him with a straight armbar. Kross comes back with a flurry in the corner before hitting a suplex into a tree of woe and a running knee in the midsection in the corner. Finn locks in an armbar before Kross counters and Finn counters back into a DDT to the arm of Kross before Kross collapses after a back spin kick.

Finn stretches Kross and focuses on his midsection and liver before Kross drops him with a kick and drives Finn into the top turnbuckle. Finn comes back with a reverse DDT before Kross drops Finn with a clothesline and hits a powerbomb onto his own knee for a deep two count. Finn counters a Doomsday Saito into a front face lock and knees to the midsection before locking in an abdominal stretch before Kross slings him off. Finn hits a sling blade before Kross clotheslines him and hits a Doomsday Saito and Finn hits a Pele kick into a shotgun dropkick. Finn goes up top and hits the Coup de Grace for a near fall before Kross locks in the Straight Jacket and Finn counters into a twister.

Scarlett screams at Kross and fires him up before Kross elbows Finn unconsciously and hits a German suplex into a Doomsday Saito. Kross then hits a running forearm to the back of the neck of Finn before hitting a second one and knocking him out for the pin and the win.

Winner: Karrion Kross defeats Finn Bälor via pinfall to become the new NXT champion.

Unsanctioned Match
Kyle O'Reilly vs Adam Cole

Adam and Kyle brawl before Kyle sends Adam out of the ring and hits a slingshot cross body before Adam sends Kyle into the barricade and Kyle slingshots Adam into it. Kyle grabs a chair and sets it up at ringside before sitting Adam in the chair and kicking him in the chest before Adam comes back and Kyle drops him back first onto the floor. Adam sends Kyle off of the top rope and down onto the floor before bringing chairs into the ring before hitting Kyle with a chair with the UE logo. Adam drives a chair into the neck of Kyle before whipping him into the corner and bouncing off of the turnbuckles before hitting a neckbreaker onto a chair. Adam screams at Kyle and mocks him before they exchange and Kyle sweeps Adam before Kyle locks in a heel hook and they roll out of the ring to break the hold.

Kyle hits a flying kick off of the apron to a seated Adam before they get back inside and Kyle punches a chair into Adam's face for two. Kyle brings a chain into the ring only for Adam to hit him with a neckbreaker in the ropes before they exchange forearms until Kyle drops Adam. Kyle wraps the chain around his foot and kicks Adam before Adam counters into a figure four with the chain before Kyle reverses the pressure and Adam rolls back over. Kyle and Adam punch each other in the figure four before falling backwards and breaking the hold before Adam nearly decapitates Kyle when he runs the ropes and into the chain. Adam hits a back stabber for two before setting chairs up back to back and knocks Kyle onto one before hitting a shining wizard and dragging Kyle out of the ring.

Kyle counters a suplex onto the steps into a standing guillotine before Adam sends him into the barricade and Kyle boots Adam before they end up on top of the announce table. Kyle suplexes Adam onto and off of the announce table before Adam hits Kyle with a monitor and tosses him back inside before emptying a tool box into the ring. Adam grabs a pair of plyers and a tire iron before Kyle hits a rebound lariat into a brainbuster before wrapping the chain around the arm of Adam. Kyle locks in an armbar with the chain before transitioning into a triangle choke before nearly choking Adam unconscious and Adam hits him with the tire iron to get free. The two sit on chairs and exchange strikes until Adam low blows Kyle and superkicks him for a near fall before putting a chair around Kyle's neck and laying out the referee when he tries to stop him.

Adam hits a Panama Sunrise before Kyle rolls out of the ring when Adam assaults the unconscious referee for not counting the pin. Adam sends Kyle off of the stage and into the barricade before Kyle sends Adam into the barricade and locks in a standing guillotine before they nearly run through the barricade. Kyle locks in a standing guillotine on the ramp before Adam falls forward and they fall through the ramp before Adam kicks through the side of the ramp and drags Kyle through the hole. They get back into the ring and Kyle falls right back out of it before Adam suplexes Kyle onto the steps and tosses him back inside for a near fall. Kyle dodges a Last Shot before locking in a heel hook and Adam punches him with the chain before Kyle counters a Panama Sunrise into an ushigoroshi.

Kyle hits a PK into a Last Shot of his own for a near fall before going up top and Adam hits him with a chair before trapping him in the corner. Kyle then low blows Adam before hitting a diving knee with the chain around his neck onto Adam onto a chair for the pin and the win.

Winner: Kyle O'Reilly defeats Adam Cole via pinfall.
