WWE NXT UK Results for 7/24/19 WALTER vs Trent Seven in a Non-Title Match

Good afternoon Fight Fans, and welcome to our coverage of today's edition of NXT UK featuring a grudge match between the NXT UK champion WALTER and Trent Seven!

-We open the show with Trent Seven being interviewed as he arrives to the arena ahead of his grudge match against WALTER in today's main event.

Kenny Williams vs Noam Dar

They lock up and Kenny back Dar into the corner for a clean break before Dar applies several front head locks and Kenny trips him before Dar hops back to his feet. Dar locks in a side headlock before Kenny misses a dropkick and Dar ruffles his hair. Dar slaps Kenny across the face and Kenny sends Dar out of the ring before hitting a wrecking ball dropkick. Back in the ring Dar comes back with strikes and takes Kenny down with a wrist lock for a quick two count before Kenny rocks Dar with several forearms and superkicks him. Kenny hits a springboard back elbow and a suicide dive before tossing Dar back into the ring and hitting a high angle back elbow into an STO for a near fall. Dar gets a near fall off of a roll through before Kenny misses a springboard cross body and Dar hits a brainbuster for a near fall.

Kenny rocks Dar with a back elbow and rolls him up for a near fall before Dar locks in a double armbar and Kenny gets to the ropes for the break. Kenny gets free of an ankle lock and drops far with a boot before turning him inside out with a rebound lariat before Dar sends Kenny over the top rope. Kenny skins the car and Dar drags him back for a knee bar with the legs grapevined before Kenny gets to the ropes for the break. Dar then goes to hit Kenny with his boot that comes off before he gives it to the referee and low blows Kenny before hitting a shining wizard for the pin and the win.

Winner: Noam Dar defeats Kenny Williams via pinfall with a shining wizard.

-We get a segment from earlier this week where the NXT UK Tag Team champions The Grizzled Young Veterans are interviewed, Zack saying that they've defeated everyone in their path. We then get a quick recap of the confrontation between the NXT UK Women's champion Toni Storm and the challenger Kay Lee Ray before we see a graphic for their title match at NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff.

Jinny, Jazzy Gabbert & Kay Lee Ray vs Xia Brookside, Piper Niven & Toni Storm

Toni and Kay start the match before Toni beats on Jinny and Jinny immediately tags out before she and Jazzy exchange strikes. Jazzy gets the upper hand and Jinny is quick to tag back in before Piper hits a running senton and Xia hits her with a running forearm in the corner. Jinny scrambles to the corner and tags in Kay who starts focusing on the leg of Xia for a quick two count before dragging her to her corner and Jazzy slams her to the mat with ease. Jazzy tosses Xia into the corner and drops her with clubbing blows in the corner before she, Kay and Jinny isolate Xia in their half of the ring, chaining offense with frequent tags while keeping her next to their corner. Xia comes back with a tornado DDT and tags in Toni who hits Jinny with several German suplexes before hitting a sliding lariat for a two count.

Piper and Toni clear the ring before Toni hits a suicide dive and Piper a cannonball off of the apron before Xia hits a diving cross body. Back in the ring Toni hits a shining wizard to Jinny for a near fall before Jazzy grabs her when she goes for Storm Zero and Piper sends Jazzy out of the ring with a running cross body. Jinny then pins Xia with a draping sit-out facebuster when Jazzy pulls Xia from the top rope and traps her in the middle and bottom rope for the pin and the win.

Winner: Jinny, Jazzy Gabbert and Kay Lee Ray defeat Xia Brookside, Piper Niven and Toni Storm via pinfall when Jinny pins Xia with a draping sit-out facebuster.

WALTER vs Trent Seven

Trent hits a suicide dive before WALTER gets into the ring and sends him into the barricade before tossing him into the ring where the match starts before they exchange strikes and Trent sends WALTER out of the ring before hitting another suicide dive. Trent chops WALTER before WALTER sends him into the apron and Trent back drops WALTER onto the floor before they get back into the ring and WALTER applies a sleeper before turning it into a German suplex. WALTER chops Trent and drops him with a forearm before choking him in the corner and Trent comes back with chops before WALTER stifles his offense with a slam. WALTER drops Trent with a boot when he chops him before WALTER clubs Trent in the ropes ala Sheamus and locks in a single leg Boston crab before turning it into a bulldog choke. Trent gets to the ropes for the break and comes back with a dragon suplex before hitting WALTER with knife edge chops and lariats before dropping him with a clothesline.

Trent hits machine gun chops in the corner ala Satoshi Kojima before WALTER drops him with a single chop for a near fall before dropping him with a knee. Trent comes back with several knife edge chops before WALTER nearly knocks him out and Trent sends him out of the ring with a spinning back fist. Trent goes up top and gets caught before WALTER dumps him to the mat. Trent catches WALTER up top and goes for a superplex before Trent counters an avalanche powerbomb into a superplex for a near fall. WALTER rolls out of the ring before dropping Trent with a boot and powerbombing him onto the apron before rolling him back into the ring and hitting him with a powerbomb. WALTER then decides not to pin Trent and hit him with another powerbomb before the rest of Imperium make their way down to ringside, WALTER finishing with a third, fourth and fifth powerbomb before the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: WALTER defeats Trent Seven via referee stoppage.
