WWE NXT UK Results for 4/1/21 Pretty Deadly Retain Their NXT UK Tag Team Championship Titles

Good afternoon Fight Fans, and welcome to our coverage for today's edition of WWE NXT UK!

Aoife Valkyrie vs Stevie Turner

Tatum Paxley: I Came So Close To Winning NXT Women's Title, I'm Not Done

Aoife locks in a standing side headlock before Stevie takes Aoife down and locks in a side headlock of her own before hitting a snap mare into a straight armbar. Aoife comes back with a dropkick into an ax kick and Stevie takes her down with a single leg while stomping and kicking the leg of Aoife. Stevie rams the knee of Aoife into the mat before Aoife hits a missile dropkick for two before hitting an ax kick into an enzuigiri for two before Stevie hits a back stabber for two. Stevie then face washes Aoife before Aoife drops her with a roundhouse kick and goes up top before hitting her finisher for the pin and the win.

Winner: Aoife Valkyrie defeats Stevie Turner via pinfall.

Teoman vs Josh Morrell

Teoman wrings the arm of Josh before Josh dropkicks Tom and backs Teoman into the corner before Teoman slaps Josh and they run the ropes until Teoman takes out the legs of Josh. Teoman hits a basement dropkick and stomps the leg of Josh before hitting a sliding forearm before wrenching the head and neck of Josh. Teoman hits a hand spring back elbow before they exchange strikes until Josh hip tosses Teoman for two and Teoman gets his knees up when Josh goes for a standing moonsault. Teoman then kicks out the legs of Josh and hits a missile dropkick into a pair of stomps to the front and back before locking in a cross face for the tap and the win.

Winner: Teoman defeats Josh Morrell via submission.

- We get a sit-down interview with NXT United Kingdom champion WALTER and the challenger for his title Rampage Brown ahead of their match next week at Prelude as we go to commercial.

- We get a video package for Gallus training before Wolfgang participates in an underground cage fight.

- The NXT UK Women's champion Kay Lee Ray is in the ring where she talks about how she's going to be NXT UK Women's champion forever before she's interrupted by Emelia McKenzie. Emelia comes out onto the ramp and says that she's back in NXT UK to beat the best and their paths will cross sometime soon before KLR says they can pass right now. Isla Dawn then comes out of nowhere and attacks Emelia before Meiko comes out and the four women brawl with Meiko and Emelia clearing the ring.

- We come back from the break as Assistant to the General Manager Sid Scala informs KLR and Isla that they will be in a tag match against Meiko and Emelia McKenzie.

NXT UK Tag Team Championship Match
Pretty Deadly (c) vs Kenny Williams & Amir Jordan

Lewis and Amir start the match off before Sam is quick to come in and Amir backs off so he can't be double teamed before Sam beats on Amir in the corner. Amir gets out of the corner and hits a pair of dropkicks before Sam tags in Lewis as Kenny tags himself in and they lock up with Lewis backing Kenny into the corner. Lewis drops Kenny with a shoulder block and hits a hip toss before PD double team Kenny for two before Amir and Kenny clear the ring as PD regroup at ringside. Lewis and Sam isolate Amir and keep him away from Kenny until he gets the hot tag and hits a hurricanrana for a near fall before Amir sends Lewis over the top rope and down onto the floor. Amir comes in and Sam kicks them both before PD hit Crossing Swords for a near fall before Kenny hits a face buster into a Swanton Bomb by Amir. Kenny hits Lewis with a DDT for a near fall before Lewis hits a jawbreaker and tags in Sam before Amir comes in and Sam DDTs Amir.

The referee is taken out before Kenny grabs the title belts and Amir yells at him before Kenny hits Amir in the back with one of belts and leaves Amir. PD then hit Amir with Spilt Milk for the pin and the win.

Winner: Pretty Deadly retain their NXT UK Tag Team titles by defeating Amir Jordan and Kenny Williams via pinfall.
