WWE Payback Results Roman Reigns VS Braun Strowman, Chris Jericho VS Kevin Owens For The WWE United States Championship & More!

This is the Fightful.com live coverage for WWE Payback! Tonight we have an action packed show as in our main event Roman Reigns looks to finally put an end to the destructive force that is Braun Strowman! We also have plenty of gold up for grabs as Kevin Owens defends his WWE United States Championship against Chris Jericho, Randy Orton defends his WWE World Championship against Bray Wyatt in a House of Horrors match and Hardys put their WWE Tag Team Championships on the line when they take on Cesaro and Sheamus! We also have Bayley defending her WWE RAW Women's Championship against Alexa Bliss and much more so be sure to come back here at 7 PM EST where we'll get things started on the preshow with Enzo and Cass taking on Gallows and Anderson!

Enzo & Cass vs Gallows & Anderson

Enzo goes right after Karl to start the match, seemingly looking for a quick finish before hitting him with several shoulder blocks in the corner. Karl comes back by focusing on the arm of Enzo before tagging Doc in. Doc drops Enzo, then tags in Karl immediately after; Guns and Gallows doing their best to keep Enzo isolated in their corner. Gallows hits Enzo with an STO when he breaks up a roll up on Karl, then Enzo rolls out of the ring to recover as we go to commercial.

Gallows is in control as we come back, Cass eagerly awaiting a tag as Enzo hits Doc with a DDT before Doc tags in Karl. Karl knocks Enzo away right before he can tag in Cass, then Enzo goes to their corner before catching Karl running in. Karl drops him anyway, then Enzo goes to tag in Cass, but Gallows yanks him off of the apron right when Enzo tries to tag him in. Enzo crawls through the legs of Gallows and finally tags in Cass who sends Karl out of the ring before power slamming Gallows and hitting him with an elbow drop. Cass splashes Doc repeatedly, then Karl moves him out of the way before Enzo tags himself back in right when Karl does. Karl dropkicks Enzo off of the apron, then rolls him back into the ring before Gallows and Anderson go for the Magic Killer, but Cass sends Anderson out of the ring before Enzo rolls up Gallows for the pin and the win.

Winner: Enzo & Cass via pinfall

-The Miz & Maryse come out and Miz introduces Finn Balor who comes out and talks about his return to RAW. Finn and Miz talk about the Balor Club, Finn saying that memberships are dictated by the fans rather than himself, then Finn says the club has declined to accept Miz and Maryse into their fold. Miz goes on to list the accolades of Finn, including his time in NXT and Japan before talking about how he was drafted so early last year, then asks Finn if he feels like he's a failure. Finn goes off to list all of his injures, then becoming the first WWE Universal champion, Miz saying he was champion for twenty four hours and that screams failure. Miz says that Finn is too small and he fights with his heart rather than his brain and that he was Intercontinental champion and the face of Smackdown! Live while Finn was busy rehabbing. Finn says his next goal is to get the WWE Universal championship back, Miz saying that Brock Lesnar will break him in half. Finn hits Miz with a sling blade, then dropkicks him into the corner before leaving.

Kevin Owens vs Chris Jericho WWE United States Championship Match

They brawl around ringside before the match starts, then Jericho rolls KO into the ring before KO stomps him down. Jericho comes back and dropkicks KO out of the ring, then hits a back elbow off of the top rope once he rolls back into the ring. Jericho beats on Kevin in the corner, then hits a bull dog before KO rolls out onto the apron when Jericho goes for a lionsault. KO sends Y2J into the barricade, then hits a cannon ball before rolling back into the ring, seemingly content with a count out victory. KO hits a high angle senton once they're back in the ring for a quick two count, then KO puts Y2J in a side headlock. KO hits a neckbreaker for another quick two count, then puts Y2J back in the headlock before Jericho rolls him up for a quick two count.

They exchange strikes, then KO puts Y2J into another headlock before KO sends Jericho to the floor when he misses a splash in the corner. Y2J comes back and teases a Walls of Jericho, but KO counters, then Jericho hits him with an enzuigiri for a near fall. They tease their finishers, then Jericho misses a lionsault, KO hitting a cannonball for a near fall. Y2J counters a pop-up powerbomb, then puts KO in the Walls of Jericho before he gets a finger on the ropes right before he taps. Jericho sends Owens out of the ring, then smashes his hand into the steps repeatedly before wedging it between the steps and the ring post and stomping on it. KO pokes Y2J in the eye and rolls him up for a near fall before Jericho counters a pop-up powerbomb and locks the Walls of Jericho in once more before KO is forced to tap.

Winner: Chris Jericho via submission
