WWE Raw 11/9/20 Results: 2 Title Matches, Riddle Pulls Double Duty & More!

The Outrunners vs. The Infantry, Aaron Solo Bout Set For 5/2 ROH On HonorClub

- Highlights are shown of what went down last week between Randy Orton, The Fiend, The Miz, John Morrison and Drew McIntyre.

- The Miz and John Morrison make their way to the ring for another edition of Miz TV, Miz and Morrison talk about teaming with Randy Orton against Drew McIntyre and The New Day tonight. Miz teases cashing in his Money In The Bank Contract tonight, Orton interrupts and he makes his way to the ring. Orton is angry that The Miz says his reality show is more important that their match tonight, Orton takes shots at both Miz and Morrison. Orton dares Miz to attack him and then cash in his contract, Miz and Morrison tell Orton that they are focused on getting a Raw Tag Team Title shot. The New Day interrupt and come out to the stage, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods question the plans Miz and Morrison have for tonight. The New Day get in the ring and they are immediately attacked by Orton and friends, Drew McIntyre hits the ring and he battles Orton until Miz attacks him with the briefcase. Orton then hits the injured McIntyre with an RKO.

- Elias is in the ring after the commercial break expires, Elias says he had a premonition that he’d win tonight’s qualifying match. Elias says he needs to be on the Raw Team at WWE Survivor Series ‘20, Elias says he’ll turn things around tonight and get back to his winning ways. Elias waits for someone to interrupt him and Jeff Hardy does when he starts playing his guitar.

Raw Men’s Survivor Series Team Qualifying Match
Riddle vs. Elias vs. Jeff Hardy

The match begins with Elias attacking Hardy as soon as the bell sounds, Riddle also joins in on the attack against Hardy. Riddle goes after Elias until everybody exchanges some roll ups for a few near falls, Riddle goes after Elias and Hardy battles Elias next. Elias sends Riddle to the ring apron and Riddle eventually drags Hardy out of the ring, Elias takes out both opponents with a basement drop kick. Elias sends Hardy into the ring post before sending Riddle into the barricade, Elias nails Hardy with a clothesline as we go to a commercial break. We return from the break to see Elias working over Hardy in the ring, Riddle tries getting back in the ring and Elias knocks him to the arena floor. Riddle returns to the ring and Elias attacks him before landing a back elbow strike for a near fall, Hardy fights back and he nails Elias with a jaw breaker. Hardy follows up by attacking Elias with a series of strikes, Hardy attacks Elias and Riddle with atomic drops. Hardy drops Riddle before nailing Elias with a splash for a near fall, Hardy knocks Riddle out of the ring before eating a Drift Away from Elias for a near fall.

Riddle attacking a kneeling Elias with some kicks before landing a fisherman buster suplex for a near fall, Riddle looks for the Bro Derek and Hardy knocks him into Elias. Hardy then hits Elias with a Poetry In Motion, Hardy goes for a Twist Of Fate and Riddle blocks it before a striking exchange breaks out between them. Hardy goes for a Twist Of Fate and Elias nails him with a knee strike, Riddle then hits Elias with a Bro Derek for a three count.

Winner: Riddle

- Adam Pearce is talking to AJ Styles backstage when Charly Caruso arrives, Styles says he is happy that Riddle is a part of Team Raw. Sheamus interrupts and he is unhappy that Riddle is a part of the team, Sheamus says he’ll attack Riddle if he gets out of line and Styles says a team meeting is needed tonight. Sheamus says Styles is not his team captain, Braun Strowman shows up and he says the same thing.

- Highlights are shown of last weeks attack on Ricochet by Retribution.

- Retribution is backstage, Mustafa Ali says Ricochet is a good and honorable man, Ali says he applauds Ricochet’s choice to not join The Hurt Business. Ali must accept that one man cannot change anything, Ali and Reckoning say no mercy will be shown to Ricochet tonight.

- Highlights are shown of Bobby Lashley defeating R-Truth on last week’s Raw, followed by the WWE 24/7 Title madness that followed. Highlights are also shown of The Hurt Business defeating The New Day on WWE Raw.

- The Hurt Business are backstage when Drew Gulak interrupts, Gulak says The Hurt Business should expand to phase two with him joining the group. MVP turns Gulak down and Bobby Lashley takes his clip on tie off, The Hurt Business attack Gulak before leaving. R-Truth appears and he pins the downed Gulak to win the WWE 24/7 Championship.

Lana vs. Shayna Baszler w/ Nia Jax

The match begins with Lana attacking Baszler as the bell sounds, Baszler gets free and she cracks Lana with a knee strike. Lana tries fighting back and Baszler corners her before landing some strikes, Lana fights back again and Baszler drops her. Baszler holds Lana down while wrenching away on her arm and then stomping on it, Baszler misses a knee strike in the corner before landing a head kick and gut wrench suplex. Baszler then hits Lana with a knee strike before locking in the rear naked choke to force a tap out.

Winner: Shayna Baszler w/ Nia Jax

After the match, Lana is sent out of the ring and Nia Jax prepares to put her through the table, Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke help Lana by attacking Jax.

- Highlights are shown of the physical confrontation last week between members of the Raw Men’s Survivor Series Team.

- Lana meets Dana Brooke & Mandy Rose backstage, Lana thanks them for helping her before they accuse her of costing them the women’s tag team titles last week on Raw. Brooke and Rose tell Lana to stay out of their way.

- AJ Styles and Jordan Omogbehin make their way to the ring for the Raw Team meeting, Styles welcomes the WWE Universe to the Raw Team meeting. Styles says Team Raw will win at WWE Survivor Series with him as team captain, Styles then brings the rest of the team to the ring. Styles admits that last week got off to a rocky start, Styles says Riddle was the missing piece for Team Raw. Lee interrupts and he accuses Styles of giving him a cheap shot last week, Sheamus interrupts and he calls him a hypocrite. Sheamus and Lee have a back and forth until Strowman says he’ll beat them both up, Riddle interrupts and he wants everybody to chill. Riddle gives everybody code names to try and make them all happy, Sheamus isn’t happy with his “Fire Face” nickname. Styles tries bringing them all together by reminding them how Team Smackdown can beat them, Styles says they all should work together while they all disagree about Styles being the team captain. Styles says he got a tag match between Braun Strowman & Sheamus against Keith Lee & Riddle with him as ref for tonight.

Sheamus & Braun Strowman vs. Keith Lee & Riddle
Special Guest Ref: AJ Styles

The match begins with Sheamus getting Lee in a headlock, Lee gets free and he cannot drop Sheamus before working over his arm. Riddle tags in and he attacks a cornered Sheamus with some strikes, Riddle drops Sheamus before kicking him in the back. Sheamus corners Riddle before tagging Strowman in, Strowman nails a cornered Riddle with an avalanche. Strowman follows up by dropping Riddle with a hard Irish whip into the corner, Sheamus tags in and he kicks away at a cornered Styles. Sheamus drops Riddle before choking him on the middle rope, Riddle fights back and he cracks Sheamus with a few strikes. Riddle looks for an ankle lock and Styles breaks it up because Sheamus was in the ropes, Sheamus drops Riddle and he attacks his injured back. Sheamus argues with Styles before eating a gut wrench suplex from Riddle, Riddle accidentally hits Styles with a knee strike and Sheamus rolls him up while Styles is hurt. Riddle accidentally hits Styles again and Sheamus sends him out of the ring, everybody else hits the ring and Styles gets taken out again. Jordan Omogbehin gets in the ring as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see Sheamus working over Riddle in the ring.

Riddle fights back and Sheamus nails him with the Irish Curse back breaker, Strowman tags in and he nails Riddle with a senton for a near fall. Strowman keeps Riddle down while applying a chin lock to him, Strowman releases the hold to hit Riddle with a suplex throw. Strowman misses a charge in the corner and he crashes into the ring post, Lee tags in and he immediately starts cleaning house against the opposing team. Lee knocks Sheamus into Strowman before power bombing Riddle onto Strowman, Lee then hits Strowman with a clothesline for a near fall. Strowman blocks Lee from landing a Spirit Bomb and both crash to the mat below, Sheamus tags in and he cracks Lee with a knee strike. Sheamus then hits Lee with a Brogue Kick, Riddle makes a blind tag and he nails Sheamus with a German suplex for a near fall. Riddle corners Sheamus before landing a few strikes, Strowman distracts Riddle and Sheamus drop him. Sheamus sets up for a Brogue Kick and Strowman tags himself in, Strowman nails Riddle with multiple avalanches before Sheamus tags in. Strowman and Sheamus argue until Sheamus hits with a Brogue Kick, Riddle rolls up Sheamus for a three count.

Winners: Keith Lee & Riddle

- Alexa Bliss is approached by Nikki Cross backstage, Cross reminds Bliss of their brief confrontation last week. Cross says she wants to talk about Bliss and Bray Wyatt, Cross says she isn’t playing and she blames herself for what happened to Bliss. Cross says she is here now for Bliss and she calls Wyatt pure evil, Cross says Bliss should walk away and Bliss chooses Wyatt over Cross before walking away.

- Charly Caruso is backstage and she reveals that The Hurt Business will get a shot at the Raw Tag Team Titles next week, Bobby Lashley and MVP make their way to the ring as we go to a commercial break.

- MVP and Bobby Lashley are in the ring after the commercial break, MVP says The Hurt Business will represent Raw against The Street Profits after they win the Raw Tag Team Titles next week. MVP also says that Lashley will beat Sami Zayn at WWE Survibor Series ‘20, Lashley says the only question is whether Zayn will leave WWE Survivor Series walking. Titus O’Neil interrupts and he talks about The Hurt Business attacking him a few weeks ago on Raw, MVP says O’Neil has the opportunity to walk away right now and he refuses to do so. O’Neil questions Lashley as to why he doesn’t defend the WWE United States Title, Lashley says he has no respect for O’Neil before granting him a title shot.

Bobby Lashley (c) w/ MVP vs. Titus O’Neil

The match begins with MVP insulting O’Neil so Lashley can attack him from behind, O’Neil recovers and he attacks Lashley with a bunch of strikes. O’Neil corners Lashley while landing multiple shoulder thrusts, Lashley avoids a clothesline to hit O’Neil with a spear. Lashley gets O’Neil in The Hurt Lock and a tap out follows.

Winner: Bobby Lashley w/ MVP, still the WWE United States Champion

- Sheamus bumps into Drew McIntyre backstage, Sheamus asks McIntyre to join Team Raw and McIntyre offers him some advice. Sheamus says he hates The New Day as McIntyre claps to their theme song, Sheamus says he wishes that he could team with McIntyre again. McIntyre says he’ll drink again with Sheamus when he wins back the WWE Championship.

- Mandy Rose, Dana Brooke & Lana are at ringside before the next match.

- Sarah Schreiber interviews Nia Jax, who says Asuka is confused about who runs the Raw Women’s Division, Shayna Baszler says she runs things while Jax proclaims herself to be the women’s team leader.

Asuka vs. Nia Jax w/ Shayna Baszler

The match begins with Jax shoving Asuka to the mat below, Asuka gets up and she attacks Jax with a few leg kicks. Asuka goes for the arm bar and Jax knocks her away, Asuka then gets Jax in the octopus stretch and she transitions to an arm bar. Asuka then advances to a triangle choke and Jax gets to the ropes to break the hold, Jax drags Asuka out of the ring before slamming her into the barricade as we go to a commercial break. We return from the break to see Asuka nailing Jax with a jaw breaker in the ring, Asuka goes for a jump guillotine choke and Jax gets free by landing a suplex for a near fall. Asuka gets up and Jax tosses her across the ring before landing an avalanche for a near fall, Jax looks for a power bomb and Asuka counters with a roll up for a near fall. Asuka then cracks Jax with a plethora of strikes and a running hip attack for a near fall, Jax gets to a knee and Asuka attacks her with kicks. Jax recovers and she nails Asuka with a power bomb, Asuka catches Jax in an arm bar. Baszler hops on the apron with Lana and Asuka takes them all out, Asuka manages to get Jax in the Asuka Lock. Baszler interferes to break it up and cause a DQ.

Winner: Asuka, by DQ

After the match, a brawl breaks out between everybody until Lana is left with Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. Jax clears the announce table while Baszler sends Lana out of the ring, Jax then puts Lana through the table. Jax gets the microphone and she tells Lana to quit from the women’s Raw Survibor Series team.

- Highlights are shown of what went down during the opening segment of Raw.

- Sarah Schreiber interviews R-Truth, who says he is ready to head to the ring to defend the WWE 24/7 Championship.

- Angel Garza is backstage and he talks about being cold blooded in the ring, Garza says he is fighting for every woman in the world and other men are worthless.

WWE 24/7 Championship
R-Truth (c) vs. Tucker vs. Drew Gulak vs. Akira Tozawa vs. Erik vs. Lince Dorado vs. Gran Metalik

The match begins with everybody attacking Tozawa, Tozawa nails R-Truth with a spinning head kick for a three count. Erik then rolls up Tozawa to get a three count and win the title, Gulak rolls up Erik for a three count to win the title. Tucker catches Gulak in a small package for a three count to win the title, Gulak does the same to get the title back and Tucker does it again to get a three count and win the title. R-Truth attacks Gulak and Tucker before eating a knee strike from Erik, everybody hits the ring and they all take each other out. Metalik hits Tucker with a top rope elbow drop to win the title, Dorado rolls up Metalik to win the title. R-Truth then hits Dorado with an Attitude Adjustment to get the three count and win the title.

Winner: R-Truth, still the WWE 24/7 Champion

- Highlights again are shown of what went down between Ricochet and Retribution.

Ricochet vs. Mustafa Ali w/ Retribution

The match begins with Ricochet dropping Ali with a few strikes, Ali gets up and Ricochet nails him with more strikes. Ricochet then drops Ali with a running back elbow strike, Ricochet also nails Ali with a slam and elbow drop. Ali recovers and he drops Ricochet face first in the corner before kicking him while he is down, Ali corners Ricochet while nailing him with more strikes. Ali drops Ricochet with a clothesline before getting a near fall on him, Ricochet gets up and he exchanges strikes with Ali. Ali ends the exchange by nailing Ricochet with a suplex for a near fall, Ali holds Ricochet down while applying a chin lock to him. Ali releases the hold and he nails Ricochet with more strikes, Ricochet recovers and he nails Ali with a back body drop. Ricochet goes to the ring apron and he gets Ali out there, Ricochet uses a huracanrana to knock Ali to the arena floor. Ricochet gets Ali in the ring before Retribution surrounds him as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see Ali holding Ricochet in a chin lock. Ricochet gets free and Ali nails him with a neck breaker for a near fall, Ali drops Ricochet before landing a basement drop kick for a near fall.

Ali keeps Ricochet down again while holding him in a chin lock, Ricochet gets free and he nails Ali with a dragon suplex. Ricochet and Ali have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Ricochet ends the exchange by nailing Ali with a clothesline. Ali avoids a kicking Ricochet to kick him in the midsection, Ali goes for a tornado DDT and Ricochet blocks it before landing a northern lights suplex into a brain buster for a near fall. Ricochet gets Ali on the top rope and he follows him up there, Ali rakes the eyes of Ricochet before landing a super back stabber for a near fall. Ali taunts Ricochet and Ricochet levels him with a forearm strike before landing a dragon rana, Ricochet then takes everybody out with a suicide dive. Ricochet goes to the top rope again and he misses a phoenix splash, Ali gets Ricochet in the Koji Clutch and Ricochet goes out cold.

Winner: Mustafa Ali w/ Retribution

- Randy Orton is backstage and Adam Pearce approaches him to reveal that Orton defends the WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre next week on Raw. Orton is angry and he gets physical with Pearce.

Randy Orton, The Miz & John Morrison vs. Drew McIntyre & The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods)

The match begins with McIntyre dropping a charging Morrison with a right, McIntyre throws Morrison into the corner before landing more strikes. Woods tags in and he also nails Morrison with some strikes, Morrison fights back and he drops Woods with a shoulder tackle. Woods recovers and he drops Morrison with a discus forearm strike, Miz tags in and Kingston tags in as well before nailing Miz with a springboard cross body block. Morrison tags back in and Kingston rolls him up for a near fall, Kingston follows up with a top rope huracanrana of Morrison. Miz interferes and he gets taken out by The New Day, The New Day then hit Morrison and Miz with suicide dives as we go to a commercial break. We return from the break to see Woods nailing Miz with a drop kick in the ring for a near fall, Woods follows up with a clothesline on Miz for another near fall. Morrison interferes and he drops Woods neck first on the top rope, Morrison tags in and he nails Woods with a double stomp that sends him crashing to the arena floor. Morrison gets Woods back in the ring to get a near fall on a pin attempt, Morrison holds Woods down while applying a chin lock to him.

Woods gets free and Morrison eventually nails him with a Samoan drop, Miz tags in and he double teams Woods with Morrison. Morrison tags in and he nails a trapped Woods with a slingshot elbow drop for a near fall, Miz tags in and he works with Morrison to hit Woods with a double gut buster. Miz traps Woods in the corner while landing a bunch of kicks, Woods fights back and he drops Miz with a clothesline. McIntyre and Morrison are tagged in by their respective partners, McIntyre immediately starts cleaning house against the opposing team. McIntyre then hits Morrison with a neck breaker while taunting Orton, McIntyre then hits Morrison with a Future Shock DDT. Orton fakes a tag in before heading backstage, Morrison rolls up McIntyre for a near fall before landing a suicide dive on Kingston. McIntyre takes out Miz before nailing Morrison with a Glasgow Kiss, McIntyre then hits Morrison with a Claymore Kick for a three count.

Winners: Drew McIntyre & The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods)
