WWE SmackDown (10/6/2023) Results: Judgment Day, Cody Rhodes, Rey Mysterio, Jey Uso & More Appear

On October 6, 2023, WWE hosted a new episode of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX.

The show was headlined by Judgment Day appearing in on the show & Rey Mysterio facing Bobby Lashley. The show also featured Dragon Lee making his debut against Austin Theory & more. Full results are listed below.

WWE Raw Producers And Backstage News For April 22

WWE Smackdown (10/6/2023).

  • LA Knight kicked off the show but was interrupted by The Bloodline (Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa & Paul Heyman). Uso told Knight they would make sure Knight did not make it to Fastlane, but John Cena came to the ring to even the odds for Knight. After Heyman told Uso & Sikoa to back off, Knight challenged Jimmy Uso to a match later in the night, which Uso accepted.
  • The Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, Rhea Ripley & Damian Priest) arrived at the arena before being joined by JD McDonagh. Priest asked why was McDonagh there, to which Ripley responded by saying that she invited him to SmackDown.
  • Charlotte Flair & Asuka def. Damage CTRL (Iyo Sky & Bayley w/ Dakota Kai).
  • Backstage, The Bloodline (Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa & Paul Heyman) were heading into their locker room but they were interrupted by JD McDonagh & The Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, Rhea Ripley & Damian Priest) before the commercial break.
    After the break, The Bloodline & Judgment Day had a staredown before Paul Heyman & Rhea Ripley told them to leave the room. Ripley & heyman agreed to talk business.
  • Bobby Lashley (w/ Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) def. Rey Mysterio (w/ Joaquin Wilde, Cruz del Toro, Zelina Vega & Santos Escobar).
  • Paul Heyman & Rhea Ripley negotiated backstage, where the two agreed to have The Bloodline & The Judgment Day. Heyman said that he needed to get permission from Roman Reigns, which Ripley responded by saying that he better make sure they work together or The Judgment Day would come for The Bloodline.
  • There was a vignette of The Unholy Union (Isla Dawn & Alba Fyre).
  • Dragon Lee def. Austin Theory (w/ Grayson Waller).
    • In the last part of the match, Grayson Waller attacked Dragon Lee on the outside while the referee was distracted. As Cameron Grimes attacked Grayson Waller on ringside, Dragon Lee got Austin Theory in a roll-up for the win.
  • Rey Mysterio was with Zelina Vega & Santos Escobar, where he revealed that Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde were not cleared to compete for WWE Fastlane. Rey Mysterio said that he would make a call for tomorrow's match.
  • There was a vignette recapping the feud between Shinsuke Nakamura & WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins ahead of their match at WWE Fastlane.
  • LA Knight def. Jimmy Uso (w/ Paul Heyman & Solo Sikoa) (via Disqualification).
    • Solo Sikoa attacked LA knight to end the bout, but John Cena came to the ring to stop the attack.
    • JD McDonagh & The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Rhea Ripley, Damian Priest & Dominik Mysterio) appeared and shook hands with Heyman before confronting Cena & Knight. Jey Uso joined Cena & Knight before Cody Rhodes joined the proceedings. In the end, JD McDonagh got caught with the BFT from Knight, followed by Jey Uso hitting a thrust kick on the former WWE Cruiserweight champion before Cena hit the 5-Knuckle Shuffle into the Attitude Adjustment on the Irish Ace. Cody Rhodes ended the proceedings by hitting the Crossroads on McDonagh to end the broadcast.
