WWE SmackDown (4/12/2024).

• After a video package highlighting Cody Rhodes beating Roman Reigns to win the Undisputed WWE Championship, Corey Graves & Wade Barrett welcomed the audience to the broadcast before transitioning into the opening segment.
• The newly crowned WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes came to the ring to kick off the show. Rhodes addressed Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson interrupting him on Monday Night Raw, where he said that the first thing he thought when he walked in was Brandi Rhodes's "Who the hell told you was Open-Mic Night, Bitch?!", but said he believed The Rock saying that e would be back for him before stating that The Rock won't have to look very far because he would be here.
  After talking about that, he addressed his first title defense at WWE Backlash, where he sent out a warning for the challengers in the WWE Title Eliminator Tourney that if they come on at the king, they better not miss. Rhodes ended proceedings by emphatically declaring he was the new WWE Champion.
• The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Jimmy Uso & Paul Heyman) walked into the arena and discovered that Cody Rhodes had taken the Champion's locker room. Sikoa said that he would take care of this, but Heyman told Sikoa that wins & losses matter here and the only way to get that locker room back is by regaining the WWE Title.
• WWE Undisputed Championship - #1 Contender's Eliminator Tournament Match: LA Knight def. Bobby Lashley & Santos Escobar via Pinfall (BFT on Escobar).
  • The Latino World Order (Rey Mysterio, Carlito, Joaquin Wilde, Cruz del Toro, Zelina Vega & Dragon Lee) were interviewed backstage, where Mysterio said that karma has its way of coming back around and stated that he believed he has one more run as WWE Champion.
• The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Jimmy Uso & Paul Heyman) came to the ring to cut a promo. Heyman said that they needed to be held accountable and put over that Cody Rhodes was the rightful champion. Heyman was about to say that Roman Reigns would rise again like a phoenix, but Sikoa interrupted him and said that losses have consequences. Sikoa then hugged Jimmy Uso before a mysterious figure attacked Uso. The mysterious man was revealed to be former ROH and IWGP Tag Team Champion Tama Tonga, who teamed up with Sikoa to beat up Uso. Heyman tried to call Roman Reigns, but Sikoa took Heyman's phone and stomped it before Sikoa hit a chair-assisted Hip Attack on Uso.
• Bron Breakker def. Cameron Grimes via Pinfall (Spear).
• AJ Styles cut a promo backstage, where he said that it was nothing personal against Kevin Owens & Rey Mysterio, but it was necessary because he was aiming to advance in the tournament.
• Bayley came to the ring to cut a promo, where she claimed to be proud to name herself as the new WWE Women’s Champion. Bayley said the recent title win meant more because it was her being at top of the best locker room she had been a part of, and said that it was because of the fans that kept supporting her in her vision. As Bayley said she was going to issue a chance, she was interrupted by Tiffany Stratton who accepted an “open challenge”. Bayley denied the challenge because she was going to grant the title shot to Naomi. After the disses from Stratton, Naomi interrupted Stratton and demanded a match with Stratton immediately.
• Paul Heyman was interviewed backstage by Kayla Braxton regarding a medical update on Jimmy Uso but was interrupted by Tama Tonga, who said he was here by orders of The Tribal Chief. Solo Sikoa signaled his thumb to Heyman, which left him bamboozled.
• Naomi def. Tiffany Stratton via Pinfall (Jack-Knife Cover).
• There was a video package of the newly crowned SmackDown Tag Team Champions A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory & Grayson Waller). New Catch Republic (Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate), The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) & Nick Aldis watched backstage, where Aldis said there would be a challenger for them next week.
• WWE United States Champion Logan Paul where he claimed that we were now in the Logan Paul Levesque Era.
• Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill def. Piper Niven & Chelsea Green via Pinfall (Jaded).
• Kevin Owens was interviewed backstage by Byron Saxton, where Kevin Owens decided to take the microphone to cut a promo while having a one-shot entrance. While holding a Detroit Tigers Title, Owens said that Rey Mysterio & AJ Styles were on his path to the WWE Title and no one would stop him from getting his hands at the title.
