WWE Smackdown! Live Results for 2/26/19 Aleister Black & Ricochet vs Shinsuke Day

Good evening Fight Fans, and welcome to our coverage of tonight's edition of WWE Smackdown! Live! Enjoy the show and if you're interested in exclusive content check out premium service Fightful Select!

-The WWE champion Daniel Bryan and Rowan are in the ring alongside Stephanie and Shane McMahon, respectively. We get a video package for Kofi Kingston before he comes out to the ring and addresses the WWE Universe in regards to his title match against Daniel Bryan at Fastlane. Kofi sits down to the table to sign the contract before he's interrupted by Mr McMahon, Vince saying that he admires what Kofi has done before saying that Kofi is replaced because he's not a big enough draw. Vince replaces Kofi with someone he says is more deserving and more qualified before introducing the returning Kevin Owens. Kevin then signs the contract while New Day protest before  leaving and Kevin and Daniel stare at each other as we go to commercial.

-Kevin talks to Shane and Stephanie backstage before saying that he wants to team up with Kofi to take on Daniel and Rowan. 

The Bar vs The Hardy Boyz

Jeff starts the match with Cesaro before Matt comes in and Cesaro rocks him with a right hand before tagging in Sheamus and the Hardys clear the ring as we go to commercial.

Cesaro is in control of Jeff as we return to the action before he takes out both members of The Bar with a Whisper in the Wind and tags Matt in. Matt hits Cesaro with forearms and smashes his face into multiple turnbuckles before hitting a Side Effect for a two count. Matt hits an elbow drop off of the top before Cesaro sends him into the ropes and Sheamus kicks him from the apron before Cesaro rolls him up for a near fall that Jeff breaks up. Jeff then hits a Twist of Fate to Cesaro before Matt hits one to Sheamus and Jeff hits a Swanton Bomb for the pin and the win.

Winner: The Hardys defeat The Bar via pinfall when Jeff pins Sheamus with a Swanton Bomb.

-We see Lana talking to Aleister Black and Ricochet before saying that they're just two guys before Ricochet tells her that Rusev can't crush what he can't catch and Aleister says that she fears the unknown. Aleister then says that Rusev and Shinsuke will fade to black before she leaves as we go to R-Truth and Carmella in the arena as we go to commercial as we're told he's going to issue an United States Championship open challenge.

-We get a video package for the latest inductee to the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2019, The Honky Tonk Man.

-Andrade comes out to the ring before Rey Mysterio attacks him and the referee separates the two. Truth says that he doesn't know who to face before making it a triple threat match.

United States Championship Triple Threat Match

R-Truth (c) vs Andrade vs Rey Mysterio

Rey clears the ring before he goes for a baseball slide and Andrade dropkicks him in midair as we go to commercial.

Rey hits a springboard frankensteiner for a two count as we return to the action before Truth and Rey run into each other with a cross body. Andrade hits a running knee in the corner to Rey before Truth rocks him with right hands and drops him with a clothesline and a single leg dropkick. Truth hits a running splash in the corner before he hits a five knuckle shuffle for a two count and goes for an Attitude Adjust before Zelina distracts him and Andrade sends him out of the ring. Rey hits a seated senton before Andrade nearly knocks him out with a spinning back elbow for a near fall before Rey hits a double 619 and Truth rolls him up for the pin and the win.

Winner: R-Truth retains his United States Championship by defeating Rey Mysterio and Andrade when he rolls Rey up.

-After the match Andrade goes for a hammer lock DDT that Rey counters into a 619 attempt that Zelina saves Andrade from before they leave as we go to commercial.

-Charlotte comes out to the ring and talks about Becky being arrested last night on RAW and Ronda handing over the title.

Aleister Black & Ricochet vs Rusev & Shinsuke Nakamura

Aleister and Shinsuke lock up for a clean break to start the match before Black dodges several kicks by Shinsuke and drags him to the corner. Ricochet tags in and Shinsuke drops Ricochet before he and Rusev start with frequent tags and isolate Ricochet in their half of the ring. Shinsuke and Rusev do their best to keep Ricochet from tagging Black back in until he fights out of the corner and rolls to his corner to tag Black in. Black drops Shinsuke with kicks before Rusev distracts him and Shinsuke sends him out of the ring before Rusev gets the tag and clotheslines Black at ringside as we go to commercial.

Rusev beats Black down in the corner and locks in a bear hug that Black fights out of before Black counters a suplex and tags in Ricochet. Ricochet hits a huricanrrana and sends Shinsuke off of the apron before hitting a standing moonsault for a near fall and gets caught when he goes for a diving cross body. Rusev slams Ricochet down for a near fall before Ricochet takes out Shinsuke and Rusev and tags Black back in. Black then counters a Kinshasa into the Black Maas for the pin and the win.

Winner: Aleister Black and Ricochet defeat Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev via pinfall when Aleister pins Shinsuke with the Black Mass.

-We get a video package Roman Reigns' return to RAW last night where he announced that he was in remission.

Kevin Owens & Kofi Kingston vs Daniel Bryan & Rowan

Kofi and Daniel start the match off before Daniel immediately tags Rowan in and shoves him away with ease before they lock up and Rowan slams Kofi. Kofi side steps a running splash in the corner before Rowan turns him inside out with a boot and tags Kevin in. Kevin hits Rowan with right hands only for him to run into Rowan and gets turned inside out as well. Rowan dropkicks Kevin for a quick two count and tags in Daniel while dragging Kevin over to him. Daniel kicks Kevin before Kevin drops him with a back elbow and tags Kofi in, Kofi reluctant to team up against Daniel before Kevin hits a snapmare and Kofi hits a PK for a two count. Kofi then sends Daniel out of the ring before Kevin hits a flipping senton over the top rope as we go to commercial.

Rowan gets a quick two count on Kofi as we return to the action before dropping him with a back elbow and hitting a backbreaker for a two count. Daniel comes in and steps on Kofi's face before choking him in the ropes and hitting a dropkick that sends Kofi out of the ring. Daniel dropkicks Kofi off of the apron and tags in Rowan who picks Kofi up and drops him onto the floor before tossing him back into the ring for a two count. Rowan hits a jumping splash for a two count and slams him into the corner before Daniel comes in and sets Kofi on the top turnbuckle before hitting a superplex. Daniel locks in a cross face before Kofi gets his foot on the rope for the break and Daniel hits a running dropkick before Kofi stomps him down. Kevin tags himself in and chops Daniel before hitting a back body drop and a running clothesline in the corner before hitting a missile dropkick and a senton. Kevin hits a cannonball in the corner before he sends Rowan out of the ring and hits a pop-up powerbomb for a near fall before Rowan pulls him off of the top turnbuckle and tosses him over the announce table. Daniel then tosses Kevin back into the ring before Kevin hits a stunner for the pin and the win.

Winner: Kevin Owens and Kofi Kingston defeat Daniel Bryan and Rowan via pinfall when Kevin pins Daniel with a stunner.
