This is the Fightful.com live coverage for tonight's episode of WWE Smackdown! Live! Tonight the man with two fists finally gets his shot at history as James Ellsworth gets a shot at the gold as he takes on AJ Styles in the main event, but what will Dean Ambrose have to say or do after James betrayed him at TLC this past Sunday? What's next for The Unholy Alliance that is Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton after winning the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship and what is next for the new WWE Smackdown Women's Champion; Alexa Bliss? -AJ Styles comes out to start the show and makes light of having an ankle brace on, but says he'll be cleared next week as James comes out and implies that he isn't injured and that Daniel Bryan is protecting him and says AJ is ducking him. AJ denies James had anything to do with him winning Sunday night and says James is delusional. AJ points out that everything James has done is with Dean's help and he burned that bridge. Dean Ambrose comes out and hits James with Dirty Deeds and leaves as we go to commercial.

The Wyatt Family vs Heath Slater & Rhyno WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship Match

Randy and Heath start it off and they exchange headlocks then Heath drops Randy and Randy drops him back before tagging in Bray who runs at Heath in the corner then hits a cross body before tagging in Rhyno who drops Bray repeatedly then hits a belly to belly suplex. Rhyno goes for a Gore, but Bray rolls to the outside as we go to commercial.

Bray hits Rhyno with a lariat then a senton for a quick 2 count then tags in Randy who stomps on Rhyno hits a dropkick for a quick 2 count of his own. Rhyno tags in Heath who knocks Bray off the apron then hits Randy with a flurry of offense, dropping him repeatedly into a neckbreaker for a quick 2 count then knocks Bray off again. Randy hits a powerslam, but Rhyno breaks it up at the count of 2 then Bray sends him outside as Randy tags Bray back in and Heath hits Bray with a right hand, Bray dropping him with one of his own however. Bray tags in Randy as he's going for Sister Abigail and lets Randy finish him off with an RKO for the pin and the win.

-Kalisto is interviewed in the back and says he'll use his speed to his advantage.

-Carmella and Natalya fight before their match can start then Natalya runs into Nikki backstage, saying Nikki has to believe her as we go to commercial.

-Baron Corbin is interviewed in the back then we have The Ascension in the ring for their match against The Hype Bros.

Ascension tag in and out to isolate Zack immediately then Konnor rolls Zack back into the ring for a quick 2 count, The Ascension double teaming Zack and keeping him grounded with a headlock as Mojo is desperate to get tagged in. Mojo gets in and splashes VIktor repeatedly then hits a full nelson slam for a quick 2 count then Konnor tosses Zack out and Mojo tosses him out as the brothers of hype hit the Hype Ryder for the pin and the win.

Winner: The Hype Bros via pinfall

-The Miz and Maryse come out for Miz TV with Dean Ambrose as their guest then Miz invites Dean to come out to the ring. Dean comes out and Miz asks him how angry he was Sunday and tonight at James Ellsworth and Dean says he's not angry and that Miz has never seen him angry, saying he was surprised and shocked. Miz calls him out for using and manipulating James and using him as a puppet cut the strings and fought back, Miz saying he thinks he got off easy. Miz gives Dean a participation award as the crowd chants that he deserves it then Daniel Bryan comes out. Daniel announces Dean and Miz in the main event tonight for the Intercontinental title.

Baron Corbin vs Kalisto

Corbin drops Kalisto then hits him with a series of forearms, following up by tossing him out of the ring then Kalisto comes back in at the count of 9. Kalisto sends Corbin over the top rope then hits a moonsault off the top rope then they get back in the ring and Kalisto hits a tornado DDT then a roll up for a quick 2 count. Corbin catches Kalisto when he goes for a tornado DDT and hits him with The End of Days for the pin and the win.

Winner: Baron Corbin via pinfall

Chad Gable vs Tyler Breeze

Gable flips Breeze then puts him in an armbar in the ropes Minoru Suzuki styles then sends him to the outside. Breeze recovers then hits a belly to back suplex for a quick 2 count as they talk about Jushin Thunder Liger then Gable sends Breeze over the top rope, Gable hitting an exploder suplex as soon as he comes back in then comes off the top rope, but Breeze sends him to the outside and Jordan hits a belly to belly suplex on Fandago. Gable hits a bridged German suplex on Breeze inside the ring for the pin and the win.

Winner: Chad Gable via pinfall

-The new Smackdown Women's Champion; Alexa Bliss comes out to celebrate winning the title at TLC this past Sunday. Alexa says she proved at TLC that happy endings don't exist and says that she runs the Smackdown Women's division as Becky Lynch comes out to the ring. Alexa says that this is her era and that she can call her whatever she wants, but that she has to call her champion. Becky wants a rematch and Alexa decides to leave then they plug the main event between The Miz and Dean Ambrose as we go to commercial.

The Miz vs Dean Ambrose WWE Intercontinental Championship Match

They start off even early, both dropping each other then Dean sends Miz over the top rope, Dean starting to dive through the ropes, but Maryse gets in the way and Dean goes out after him, sending him into the barricade as we go to commercial.

Miz hits a series of dropkicks then a clothesline in the corner as we come back then Dean catches him coming off the top rope, dropping him repeatedly then rolls him up for a quick 2 count. Miz and Dean tease their finishers then Miz focuses on the left leg of Dean, seemingly setting him up for a figure four leg lock. Dean rolls Miz up for a quick 2 count then goes for a shotgun dropkick off the top rope, but Miz catches him and puts on the figure four, but Dean gets to the ropes. Dean sends Miz over the top rope then dives through the ropes after him then they get back in the ring and Dean rolls him up for a quick 2 count, Miz hitting a DDT for a quick 2 count of his own. Miz hits Dean with a series of kicks then he rolls him up again for another quick 2 count then hits a lariat that turns Miz inside out. Dean goes to the top rope, but Miz meets him and Dean knocks him off then Maryse  pushes Dean off of the top rope for a close 2 count. James Ellsworth comes out to ringside to complain about Maryse then Miz hits The Skull Crushing Finale for the pin and the win.
