WWE returned to the road in full force this past week. The Raw and Smackdown brands held their first house shows since WrestleMania, while NXT had two different groups touring.
One of those NXT tours marked the farewell appearances for Shinsuke Nakamura, Tye Dillinger, and Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder of The Revival -- all four of whom got called up to the main roster following WrestleMania.
The quartet closed both the Spartanburg, S.C., and Concord, N.C., shows with The Revival making a babyface turn, followed by a farewell promo during which each man got to speak. Wilder, however, did not wrestle in Concord due to what was diagnosed as a broken jaw. You can check out video of the end of the Spartanburg event here. It was a big week for Nakamura, who also made his in-ring debut for Smackdown at the April 17 event in Bowling Green, KY, where he defeated Dolph Ziggler.
That Bowling Green event was the only house show for either main brand that included any of the roster changes that took place during the "Superstar Shake-Up."
The Raw tour did include a return to the road for the Hardys, and while Roman Reigns was held out of matches to sell the attack on last week's episode of Raw, he and Braun Strowman did have a brawl at all three Raw events; each time that brawl ended with Reigns putting Strowman through a table.
