It has been a jam-packed week on the road for WWE, with the main roster and NXT combining to hold 12 events in the past week. The Raw and Smackdown rosters are both midway through a two-week European tour, while NXT made another loop in Florida
The biggest news came on the Raw brand house shows. After filling in for Kevin Owens at one of the events on WWE's recent tour of Latin America, Triple H laced up the boots again during the tour of Europe, joining with The Shield -- Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins -- in a series of six-man tag matches. Triple H also made a surprise appearance at Smackdown's November 6 event in Lisbon, facing Rusev in singles action.
Bray Wyatt, who was one of the members of the Raw roster who was sidelined by illness, returned as well. Although Wyatt has yet to appear on TV, he's been wrestling at every stop thus far on the tour. The outbreak of the mumps also afflicted Wyatt's real-life brother, Bo Dallas, and Roman Reigns. The WWE UK division also was well-represented in the past week, highlighted by Pete Dunne making a couple of defenses of his UK Title before making his Raw debut last night.
Over on the Smackdown tour, AJ Styles got the best of Jinder Mahal in a series of non-title main events heading into their match for Mahal's WWE Title tonight on Smackdown. Meanwhile, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper had their first matches since being re-packaged with their new Bludgeon Brothers gimmick. The on-screen "friendship" between Breezango and The Ascension also might be in a state of flux, as they teamed together in a couple of eight-man tag matches but were on opposite sides in a couple of others.
The biggest news from the latest set of NXT shows was at the November 4 event in Largo, where Peyton Royce bested Kairi Sane, Ember Moon and Nikki Cross in a Fatal Four Way. Those four will meet in the exact same match at Takeover on November 18 in Houston to crown a new NXT Women's Champion.
