Rey Mysterio will be giving up the gold.
The current WWE United States Champion Rey Mysterio confirmed by way of his personal Instagram page that he suffered a separated shoulder during his match against Samoa Joe at Money In The Bank. It was announced on tonight's edition of RAW that Mysterio is slated to appear on next week's RAW at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas and during that show, Mysterio will be relinquishing the United States Championship.
As the commentary team shared that information, Samoa Joe came into camera's view, grabbed a microphone and stated that he is coming back for the United States Title that he feels his rightfully his.
