Roman Reigns' next challenger has presented themselves.
On the June 4 episode of WWE SmackDown, Roman Reigns interrupted the main event match when it seemed as though Jimmy and Jey Uso were on the brink of losing to Rey and Dominik Mysterio. The Tribal Chief proceeded to viciously beat down the current SmackDown Tag Team Champions.
Tonight, Rey Mysterio called Roman Reigns to the ring and acknowledged him as a "rat bastard." He hates that Roman hurt Dominik and proceeded to challenge him to a match inside Hell In A Cell. Before Reigns could respond, a kendo stick mysteriously appeared in the ring, which Rey quickly grabbed and began swinging. Roman was able to fight back and continued to do so even when Dominik joined the fray, power bombing him over the top rope and to the outside.

On Talking Smack the next morning, Paul Heyman accepted the challenge. As a result, Rey Mysterio will face Roman Reigns for the Universal Title inside Hell in a Cell on Father's Day, June 20, 2021.
