Rey Mysterio confirms that he didn't pay Dominik Mysterio in 2005.
Before becoming a full-time superstar for the company in 2020, Dominik made a big appearance for WWE at the Summerslam event in 2005, as Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero battled for custody of him.
Back in December 2024, Dominik continued to show hatred for his dad, saying that he was never paid for the appearance. On a new edition of the No Contest wrestling podcast, Rey Mysterio confirmed the news.
“I gotta admit, that last part he said is true. Out of everything he said, the only thing that’s true is that he did work at SummerSlam and prior leading into that pay-per-view, and he didn’t see a single dime. Where did the money go? I don’t know Dom, where did it go? Maybe that was the payment for the BMW he got.”
