Rey Mysterio Has A Separated Shoulder; State Of WWE US Title To Be Addressed On 5/27 Raw

The fate of the WWE United States title will be revealed next week.

On WWE Monday Night Raw, WWE confirmed that Rey Mysterio suffered a separated shoulder at WWE Money in the Bank. Mysterio was victorious over Samoa Joe at Money in the Bank, winning the United States Title in the process. The match was not without some controversy as Joe's shoulder was clearly up before the count of three. Joe's shoulder being up was mentioned on commentary during the replay. After the bout, Joe attacked Mysterio to cut his celebration short, which is when the injury occurred.

Following the promo, WWE advertised that the state of the United States Title would be addressed next week.
