The 2026 edition of CMLL Torneo de Escuelas was won by the team of Escuela Magia Blanca (Tornado and Rey Pegasus). They represented Magia Blanca’s school in the tournament and defeated Estudiante Jr. & Feroz and Pantera Jr. & Psycotic in the finals.
Speaking with Fightful’s Luis Pulido for a new interview, Pegasus discussed his participation in the tournament.
“It’s been just a few months—we haven’t even been at this for a year yet—and it’s been full of surprises, full of opportunities that I’ve made the most of, which is what’s keeping me on the bill right now. We just came out of the Torneo de Escuelas with a victory alongside my partner, Tornado. We didn’t expect such a quick response, but thanks to the fans, thanks to the promotion, and thanks to us and the effort and dedication we’ve put into this wonderful sport to keep moving forward. Now we really need to stay focused and keep preparing for more because, obviously, we want to keep climbing even higher on the ranks and in the programs.”
