A new WWE 24 special on Ric Flair is premiering in the coming weeks.
On today's episode of The Bump, it was announced that a WWE 24 special titled "Ric Flair: The Final Farewell" will premiere on the WWE Network on June 7. The special will drop on the streaming platform early in the day but it will stream immediately after the NXT TakeOver: In Your House show.
No exact details on the special were announced, but it will focus on Flair. The two-time WWE Hall of Famer has not wrestled for the company since losing to Shawn Michaels back at WrestleMania 24 in 2008. Flair would go on to wrestle matches elsewhere, but not once was it in a WWE ring.
Flair has made appearances on WWE programming throughout the years after his loss to Michaels. Flair recently appeared on the April 24 episode of SmackDown when he video called into Triple H's phone to congratulate him on being with WWE for the last 25 years.
In other news from The Bump, there will be a special edition of the show taking place on June 7 to preview In Your House. Fightful will have live coverage of the event.
