It wasn’t the massive celebration that Triple H had in mind for his 25 years in WWE, but some old friends did make surprise appearances.
In the final segment of SmackDown, Triple H arrived to the ring for his 25th anniversary celebration in WWE. Before Triple H could get to say much, his long-time friend Shawn Michaels arrived at the WWE Performance Center to be with Triple H.

Among the highlights of the celebration were a back-and-forth banter between the two, a blooper reel of D-Generation X moments and highlights of Triple H’s many losses at WrestleMania.
Afterwards, Michaels talked about Stephanie McMahon, which prompted her to call Triple H by FaceTime, followed by Ric Flair and then Road Dogg. But the icing on the cake was when Vince McMahon appeared on the entrance ramp, congratulating Triple H while also telling a story of the Gobbledy Gooker.
