Ric Flair: I’ve Taken A Cortisone Shot And Wrestled With A Broken Ankle, I Don’t Have Much Sympathy For Luka Doncic’s Hamstring Injury

Over the past week, Ric Flair has taken shots at Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic for not suiting up and playing in the second round of the NBA playoffs.

Luka has been sidelined with a hamstring injury that has kept him out since April 2. He was told he would be out for eight weeks, which would keep him sidelined for the first two rounds of the playoffs.

Speaking to Yahoo Sports, Flair was asked why he is being hard on Luka.

“I’m not being hard on Luka. I’m having fun. I’m such a Laker fan, and I honestly believe, of course, I don’t know anything about the extent of his injury. I did the same thing to the quarterback of the 49ers a couple of years ago, ‘Get back in the game, man!’ I’ve taken a cortisone shot and wrestled with a broken ankle. I don’t have much sympathy for a hamstring. I know they protect their future and I don’t blame them for that. They have guaranteed money,” he said.

The Lakers are down 3-0 in their second round series against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Game four is on Monday.
