Ric Flair, of course, thinks his daughter Charlotte Flair is the greatest women's wrestler of all time. However, Ric Flair knows the WWE has a stacked women's roster.
On TV, Ric Flair has been training Lacey Evans to be on an equal playing field with his daughter, Charlotte. In reality, Ric Flair has often sung the praises of his daughter and with good reason, too.
Charlotte Flair is the most decorated woman in WWE history. As the only woman to hold the WWE Divas Championship, the NXT Women's Championship, the Raw Women's Championship, the SmackDown Women's Championship, and the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship, a Royal Rumble winner, and a WrestleMania headliner, no one has a resume that equates to Charlotte Flair's.
When asked by Ryan Satin of FOX Sports to name someone other than his daughter that is a highlight of the division, Ric Flair praised Sasha Banks and Asuka, the two incumbent WWE Women's Champions, for their ability. Ric Flair also praised Stephanie McMahon for kick-starting the women's evolution in 2015.
"I started in the '70s and I’ve seen the whole evolution," he explained. "To see this thing come around, with [Charlotte] and Sasha and Becky [Lynch] and Bayley — well the three at first, and then Bayley right afterward in the women’s division – when Stephanie [McMahon] walked out in Atlanta and said, 'Ta-da!' It really, really changed. That’s part of the history of our business."
Ric Flair, known for being one of the greatest in-ring workers of all time, called Sasha Banks “a working fool” highlighting her exceptional ability in the ring.
"I give Sasha Banks all the credit in the world," Flair said, explaining why he considers the SmackDown Women’s Champion to be among the all-time greats. "She’s a working fool. I mean, she is. She is that good.
Flair continued, "I’d put Asuka right there, too," he went on. "But, people are going to say, ‘Well, she’s not colorful enough.’ Right? In terms of technical skills, Asuka’s right there. Don’t let me leave her off. People are going to go, ‘She’s not colorful enough. She doesn’t speak English.’ Which is bullsh*t … The three of them are right there, boy."
