Ricky Saints Gives Shawn Spears His Flowers For His Coaching At WWE NXT: “Shawn Spears Is A Really, Really Great Coach”

Shawn Spears gets his flowers from Saints.

Upon Ricky Saints’ arrival at WWE, one of his first programs was with Shawn Spears over the NXT North American Championship.

Saints credited Spears while appearing on The Masked Man Show. He was asked about the coaches who have helped him at the WWE Performance Center, and Saints said Spears is a name that does not get a lot of shout-outs.

“There’s a lot actually. There’s a lot of coaches. You know, one person that doesn’t really get a lot of shout-outs is actually Shawn Spears. Shawn Spears is a really, really great coach.”

Spears is featured on NXT TV, leading The Culling faction, which consists of Tatum Paxley, Izzi Dame, and Niko Vance. In addition to his dual work with NXT, Spears runs Flatbacks Wrestling School in Florida with Tyler Breeze.
