Ricochet is getting a WWE Championship opportunity later this month after winning a triple threat match on Raw.
After defeating both Bobby Lashley and Seth Rollins on Raw, Ricochet guaranteed himself a WWE title match against Brock Lesnar at the Super ShowDown event taking place on February 27. The event will be WWE's first show in Saudi Arabia in 2020.
Early on in the match, Kevin Owens and the Viking Raiders ran in to make sure Rollins didn't pick up the victory after AOP and Buddy Murphy crashed the match, allowing Ricochet to pick up the win. But Ricochet had no time to celebrate as the moment he picked up the pinfall victory, Lesnar showed up and hit an F5 on Ricochet to close out the show.

Although Lesnar was eliminated by Drew McIntyre at the Royal Rumble, Ricochet scored an assist, staggering Lesnar to the point McIntyre was able to pull off the elimination. McIntyre capitalized on the momentum gained by eliminating Lesnar to win the Royal Rumble and has previously stated that he will be choosing to have a WWE Championship match against Lesnar at WrestleMania.
