Rob Gronkowski's Website Posts Blog About Mojo Rawley

Rob Gronkowski stokes WWE rumor fires with a recent blog.

Before coming to WWE, Mojo Rawley was attempting a career as a professional football player and when that did not work out he looked for other career paths. A blog post from GronkNation.com addressed an interview of Rawley by a local ABC affiliate in Arizona and revealed Rawley almost went into a financial career. The author of the article is listed as "Gronkowski."

"He was going to abandon pro sports all together and take a job at Merrill Lynch until destiny came a-knocking in the towering form of the Gronkowski family," said Gronkowski. "Just as Mojo was resigning himself to a financial career in a suit behind a desk, Papa Gronk a.k.a. Gordy Gronkowski Sr. offered to introduce him to WWE veteran Mike "I.R.S." Rotunda, who was his college roommate at Syracuse University," he later added.

At the end of the blog, Gronkowski compares what a WWE career would be like to a NFL career. Rumors of Rob Gronkowski's entry into professional wrestling started when he got involved in Rawley's Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royale victory and then recently he teased a retirement from football. Rawley was asked about Rob Gronkowski joining WWE earlier this year and he said it was very likely.
