The Rock Says 'There's Nothing' To Tease With WWE Return, Jokes He'll Team With Emily Blunt

The Rock is coming back to WWE, but his tag team partner isn't who you think it is.

WWE is reportedly "hopeful" for The Rock to be at Survivor Series and has "discussed the idea" of a tag team match featuring Roman Reigns and The Usos at WrestleMania 38, but as of now, nothing is official.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight alongside "Jungle Cruise" co-star Emily Blunt, The Rock was asked if he could tease anything regarding a potential WWE return.

"There's nothing," he said.

Blunt chimed in by saying, "It's gonna be me and him."

Rock laughed and said, "Yeah, it's gonna be a tag team."

Blunt finished the conversation by saying, "Gonna be me and him, and there's gonna be a big fight."

That settles that.

Rock, Paul Heyman, and Reigns have all publicly commented on the potential marquee match at WrestleMania between the two, but nothing has been made official.

Reigns noted that he believes WrestleMania 39 in 2023 would be the spot for the match as the event takes place in Hollywood. You can find Roman's full comments on the bout by clicking here.

"Jungle Cruise" can be seen in theatres or on Disney+ with Premier Access on July 30, 2021.
