- The main event of NXT saw former NXT Women's Champions and current WWE Women's Tag Team Champion Bayley & Sasha Banks return to the black and gold brand to defend their titles against Tegan Nox & Shotzi Blackheart. The champs were able to successfully retain their titles.
- NXT Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escobar turns his head towards creating the future while Drake Maverick has a response. However, things didn't go so well for him.
